I can't say enough good things about this place and of Randy and Oliver. I was pregnant and needed to make changes to my auto insurance. I called and they helped me over the phone then even delivered the policy that same day personally! Then a couple of weeks after I gave birth I couldn't come in to renew my insurance when it was due and they did the same thing. Such amazing service thabk you!

I worked with 2 insurance agents from Murrick insurance through the Columbia - Jeep dealership in Richmond, BC. Michael M. and Tyrone K.

Michael was very evasive with information, he gave me prices and also discussed financial services that didnt line up with the offers the financial rep at the dealership offered which lead to confusion on my part. He did not ask about my needs as a driver, what I would be using the car for or what deductible I wanted, he gave me a flat price with no discussion. It was very clear to me that he just wanted to wrap it up and go and that he didnt have the patience to go over things with me properly.

The following day I came back to finish the paperwork and I worked with Tyrone who was so much more thorough, he asked about me needs, discussed all the elements of insurance and really made sure I understood everything. After getting all the information of my usage the insurance ended up being $10 cheaper a month than what Michael quoted me and it was more accurate to my lifestyle needs. He was an excellent agent to work with!

Although Michael did not give me the service I felt he should have provided, I do want to caveat this review with the fact his work day had ended long before interacting with me so his very clear desire to get it over and done with can be justified, however, I feel that when dealing with something as important as insurance and car buying, making sure the customer is properly informed is very important and he didnt do that.

Very poor customer service. Started calling at least one month before my insurance was due. Several different people called numerous times in one day also sent text . They hounded me continuously. Do not get car insurance with this company. They had arranged for me to have my papers delivered. They wanted my credit card number before they came. I have never prepaid my insurance in the previous years I have dealt with them. No one came at the arranged time so I called them and they assured me someone was on their way. The said I had to be patient. I said I have run out of patience but will wait another 30 mins. I waited 32 mins then went and insured my car at an ICBC outlet. Amazing ICBC was 60 dollars cheaper than the price that I received from them. two hours later after I sent a text I received a call from a manager. Said no one was coming as ICBC required you pay in advance. Very poor customer service actually unacceptable! Do not deal with them.

Surprised with the negative reviews here. Although I have never worked with Murrick in person at their head office, I have worked with Quishi (Alan) Yang at my new car delivery and over the phone ever since. He is by far one of the best, if not THE best insurance brokers I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with.

He represents Murrick well and is highly responsive, thorough, patient and diligent. Working with him every time, from initial insurance on a new car to annual renewal feels like VIP white glove service. It feels like he is available 24/7 in whatever manner you want to communicate with him with. I have dealt with him in person, over the phone and by text. Not a single question goes unanswered.

Seriously, this is by far one of the best—if not the best—client service experiences I have ever received, not just in insurance, but perhaps of ANY type of client service EVER.

It’s also a bonus that they have couriers to deliver your insurance papers to you if you’re unable to print at home, and can also deal with everything remotely/electronically by email or phone. Long gone are the days of going into a brick-and-mortar store to renew, change or extend your insurance!
