While I was actively getting my mortgage, Andie was great. The issue is that once it was done, I never heard from them again. I even reached out for assistance within 6 months, and got ghosted. I didn't know the first thing about a variable rate mortgage, but somehow I ended up in one. When I reached out for help understanding what was happening when my mortgage just kept getting more and more expensive, i didn't get an answer at all. Not even an acknowledgement. Taking the time to at least sympathize with me would have gone a long way. I wasn't sure what path to take. So, instead of getting help, I ended up floating my variable rate the whole time (I didn't know who else to ask for help!). My mortgage went from about $1100 a month to over $1800 a month. I found out over a year later that I could have locked it in before it escalated too far. I truly believe that if she had just responded, she would have provided that information (she really does know her stuff). At best I can figure, she ended up costing me well over $10,000 unnecessarily because she couldn't text or email me back when I needed her. Besides the money, the part that really hurt was that she wouldn't respond. I thought we had built up a good rapport. Turns out that I was just a pay cheque. That doesn't leave a warm fuzzy feeling at all.

Ashley and Brian were phenomenal to deal with! They managed to salvage a home purchase at the very last minute (I had discontinued working with a man at HQ mortgages for being rude and condescending). I had parted ways with HQ and thought the deal was going to fall through, but this brokerage managed to pull through for me at the very last minute. I appreciate the hustle they made on my behalf. Ashley was very knowledgeable and kind throughout the process (I was new to everything, and a little intimidated, as it was my first home. The understanding and empathy was appreciated). She was smart and competent, which really put me at ease. Brian was on the ball and did not let anything fall through the cracks. What started out to be a negative experience, turned into a blessing. Now I'm writing this review in my 'dream/first home' kitchen with a coffee at hand and couldn't be happier. Thank you for all of your hard work! I will be a returning client when I'm ready for my next house! Cheers 🙂
