These guys are just awful. I don’t understand how what they do is even legal. I was with them for years had perfect payment history with them. Then out of the blue with zero heads up they upped my insurance by $100 a month say it’s because theft rate when up on my truck. I have perfect driving history and have done nothing to cause it to go up my self. After add $1200 a year on top of what I already owe them i came to a month where I needed some help because I had to put a bunch of money into other things so I called and asked them if I made two payments at the end of the month instead of one now and one next month. They said that was fine as long as I make the payment. I made the payment on time and then a week later it told they are cancelling my insurance because I was late. I told them I was told it was okay by them to wait because otherwise if I had known they would cancel it I would have made sure to make the payment on time again. They said they will refund me and then sent me back less then what they owe me. All around a terrible company if you can avoid using them then do that.

Terrible experience. I signed up for insurance and canceled it within one week. Despite that, the company still deducted $1,600 from my account the following month. This is unacceptable and feels very dishonest. I strongly advise others not to go with this garbage

Do not pick this insurance company for your vehicle. I have made 3 escalation calls on top of my father writing an escalation email to our insurance adjuster Tiphanie Houslin. The first escalations were done on July 15th and July17, my father never received an email till July 28th stating she will send it to a manager. I was told to wait 72 business hours to hear back, I never heard back and had to call them to make another escalation and told to wait 24 business hours to hear back, never heard back and had to make a 3rd escalation. This company and our insurance adjuster have given us the run around for almost a month since my accident. Stay away so you do not get treated like this too.

I had a terrible experience with Nordic Insurance.
They told me I would receive \$1,400 back after canceling my policy. But when the refund came, it was only \$500.
Why? They deducted over \$900 as a "cancellation policy fee."
The worst part—this fee was never mentioned anywhere. Not in the policy documents. Not during signup. Not in any emails or calls.
I contacted them for an explanation. All I got was a vague response with no proof of where this fee was written. No clear terms. No upfront disclosure.It felt dishonest and misleading.
If you're thinking about getting insurance through Nordic, ask them straight up about all hidden fees—especially cancellation charges. And get it in writing.

If you have the option.. never go with this company. Quick to take the money out but when they owe it to you it takes weeks. I canceled my insurance and they still took the money. They’re over 3 weeks behind so they haven’t even gotten to my paperwork yet and it was submitted over a month ago. They’re have to send out a check by mail and won’t put it back in your account. Awful company to work with.

Don’t deal with this company! They owe me money and take months to refund you. They take months to help their customers with their claims
Judging by all the review here it’s not just me
