This is for the TAGS RESTAURANT. I've never posted a review BUT do not go to the restaurant. I hate even writing this cause it's a small business. Maybe management will change. Our food was cooked by a gentleman that touched our food without washing his hands and bare handed, no gloves, no utensils used to handle our food. If you don't mind someone touching your food after coming in and smoking and not washing their hands, this place will be perfect. The fries were fresh and burgers were fresh, just the sanitation part is what I couldn't get over.

If you can find somewhere else to stay, I’d suggest doing that. This was nothing more than a dusty parking lot with power poles. We went to the very back and at least had bushes and trees on one side and the back. No picnic table and the big rig rvs were so close together it wouldn’t driven me nuts! It was only one night so it was tolerable and we walked across the street to the Sign Post Forest. Do better Watson Lake!

Beware of the electric power at this RV lot behind the gas station. We had the the breaker on our power post trip four times in the late afternoon/ evening as did several other rigs. I measured the voltage supply and found it dropped 12 volts which indicates poor distribution wiring throughout the sites. Not only is this a nuisance but it also can damage the equipment in your rig.

If I could give a 0 zero I would! This is a muddy parking lot behind a gas/ store site are on top of one another literally by a foot if you’re lucky. Big Ruts in the lot store has barely anything you need restaurants food is discussing to top it off you have kids on motorcycle racing around the campground all night when you complain they tell you they are waiting for the police! Who ever stays here is a fool. The lake Watson government campsite outside of town is way better

This place is basically behind a convenience, store and gas station. Gravel lot with no room in between rigs.
They have monetized everything and they want outrageous money for their food in their grocery store.
The guy behind the counter was very flippant and dismissive.
$50 a night gets you a place to park, water and questionable electricity.
You get free Wi-Fi, but for one device only. If there’s two of you, oh well. Who does that?
And you only get that Wi-Fi for 12 hours.
Now let’s talk about the coin showers.
I went in and put a loony in one and the water never came on. I decided to try a second one and that also didn’t work.
When I went into the store to get my money back, the cashier was very reluctant to give it to me and then looked at me and said, “are you sure?”
They will nickel and dime you to death.
It’s supposedly offers 30 amp power, but if you run the air conditioner with anything else, it pops the breaker. So you’re paying for 30 amp service but you sure as hell aren’t getting it.
Their attitude is dismissive, and if I could give this place a minus one I would.
Talk about predatory!

They gave us a flyer asking us to leave them a review. So here it is. The campground internet does not work, the 30 amp electric does not work, and the campground looks like it falling apart with mud pits all over the campground. It is absolutely horrible. Find another campground. The owner doesn't care and will not fix or address any problems.

After looking on line. Says newest RV site in Watson lake.

We booked 2 nights before we saw the park. The park is a gravel pit. You are sardined into a spot. Yes full hook ups. Bather s , you pay to shower, not private feeling, laundry for RV site, all machines don't work. But you can do laundry inside the store. I think this might be the local laundry mat.
I would not book again. Go 3 books down the road to local in town RV park. Yes gravel again. However look clean and private. Close to stores and lake.

Go up
