My mom sought Shokoofeh’s help as a recommendation from a friend for health insurance to travel to the USA. She specially wanted this insurance to cover medical expenses related to Covid-19.

When Shokoofeh sold her the policy, she reassured her multiple times that this policy covers corona. My mom ended up staying in the USA longer and when she called Shokoofeh to renew her policy, she ensured her again that it covers corona. However, when we started reading the policy we did not find this to be true so we decided to call the insurance company directly. When we called the insurance company, we found out that not only the policy was from a different insurance company that she had promised (she told us it was sun life), but it also did NOT cover Covid.

When we reached out to Shokoofeh, not only she was not helpful, but she started becoming very defensive and rude and did not help us at all!
We tried to follow up with her but she continued to be disrespectful and rude and basically shut us up.

Now my mother is stuck in the USA with no proper insurance coverage. If she gets Covid, she would have to pay $40,000+ for treatment and hospitalization!

Please stay away from doing any business with this woman as she is dishonest and disrespectful! I would not recommend Shokoofeh to anyone.
After we did some research, we found out that she has scammed numerous number of people in the same way! It’s truly shameful as we wanted to do business with a person in the Iranian community.

If you want to have a peace of mind with your insurance, she will not be the person you can trust. Look elsewhere!
