Terrible Service & Disrespectful Treatment – Avoid Strathmore Ford!

If I could give zero stars, I would. My father recently took his brand new Ford F-150 to Strathmore Ford due to a front collision sensor fault. Instead of providing reasonable assistance, they simply told him to leave the vehicle there. When he asked for a loaner vehicle, they outright refused, claiming they "don’t do that."

What makes this even worse is that my father’s neighbor—who also owns a brand-new F-150—was given a Ford Mustang as a loaner while waiting for an oil change! When my father pointed out this blatant double standard, Strathmore Ford had the audacity to say, "If you want that kind of service, go to the big city."

This is completely unacceptable. My father has been a loyal Ford customer for years, spending $8,300 on an extended maintenance warranty, yet Strathmore Ford treated him with complete disregard. The lack of professionalism, inconsistency in service, and dismissive attitude toward a long-time Ford owner is absolutely disgraceful.

We will never return to Strathmore Ford and will make sure others know about their awful customer service. If you want to be treated fairly and with respect, take your business elsewhere!

Buyers Beware
After several frustrating experiences with dealerships in Calgary—including one where I caught a salesman secretly trying to boost a vehicle before a test drive—, I ended up the Ford dealership in Strathmore. I shared my experiences, the salesman reassured me, saying, "We're a small-market dealership—our reputation is everything." This is when I made the mistake of trusting them completely and made the error of purchasing the vehicle without having my mechanic check it over fist. One thing I'll say is that Cody was great to deal with, I'd be one happy customer if they hadn't sold me a vehicle with "poor" repair attempt on the high-pressure fuel line .

Decision turned out to be costly. Two months later, I started to smell gas so I had my mechanic inspect the car and discovered a dangerously shoddy repair—a broken fuel line had been patched up with electrical tape, rags, foam wrap, and duct tape. Not only was this a clear deception, but it also posed a serious fire hazard. This kind of neglect puts lives at risk. Not just the driver and their passengers but everyone they share the road with

After I brought the vehicle back into the dealership to get the fuel line repaired properly, they went silent on me for 4 days, didn't answer or return any of my phone calls. So, I ended up cabbing it over to the dealership, only to learn that if I wanted to move forward with the repair, I would have to pay out of pocket because the part needed to be sourced elsewhere? I mean, you couldn't tell me this over the phone? The hardest lessons in life often come at a price, and this one was no exception.

The cherry on top was paying double the amount I was told it would cost to repair a leak in one of my tires, when I got in my vehicle to drive to work this morning, the same tire was flat...... Can't make this stuff up.

I've had the best car buying experience yet at Strathmore Ford. Kyle Holowaychuk outfitted me with exactly what I was looking for and more! I'm so impressed with how transparent this dealership is prior to getting into the finance office. There were no surprises which I super appreciated. Everybody was so friendly and welcoming. Lori in the finance department was also exceptional! I really appreciated how well everything was explained to me and I knew exactly what was going on at ALL times. I will continue to have comfort in knowing my new ride will be serviced by Strathmore Ford with the lovely Heidi Anderson. I will be back in 2-3 yrs. See you then Kyle and crew!😀

I recently bought a 2023 F-150. I wanted to Commend Cody who helped make buying a new vehicle as easy as possible, as well as helping me find the right fit. I never felt pressured or pushed as sometimes salesmen can be a little pushy. I felt like he was looking out for my best interests and helped me find the right truck for me. Very appreciative of everyone at Strathmore ford for making it an enjoyable and stress free experience.

I wouldn't be able to find the words for how amazing Ford is. Every one was so caring and kind.
First, Lianna took care of me while buying a new vehicle. She is abousolutely the hardest worker, does her due-dilligence, kind, and made me feel like a part of the Ford family. After a little hiccup she worked so hard and very fast on my deal. She even got me into the vehicle I had always wanted. Not only that but she worked so hard on getting me the best deal. I'm amazed at how many deals she was working on at the same time and I was never left waiting. Lianna went above and beyond the process. When most peoples day ends at 5 hers does not. To get my deal done as quick as possible she'd be texting me after 5 if she any guestions. I'm so impressed with her hard work, her kindness and knowledge. She definitely is the best getting things done, not only that but she gets you want and at the lowest price.
I wouldn't 100% go back to her in a sec.
Second, Strathmore Ford has an incredible staff. They all made sure they introduced themselves and were so easy to communicate with. Honestly , walking in there i felt the positive energy from everyone and I can honestly say they do what's best for the customer, Instead of the dealership.
I highly recommend Lianna and Ford. They were all so exceptional.

I am editing and updating a previous review from 2021 where I had horrible service.

Strathmore Ford has new management and I went with a new salesman this time. I would like to thank Lori and Paul, actually, for all of their help over the last 3 months.

My “dud” of an Escape Titanium Hybrid (2020 model) finally kicked the bucket at the very end of August this year. After I limped the vehicle back to Strathmore Ford, Paul got me into a new vehicle THAT DAY with everything I needed/wanted. They worked with me on a price that fit my budget. I was extremely happy with my new 2022 Edge.

However, at the beginning of November, a car accident rendered my Edge a complete write-off. Once I heard that, I went back to Paul and he and Lori reminded me of my gap insurance (thank you Lori for that at time of sale) AND they lined up a bunch of cars for me to look at. My rental expires in 3 days and I’m finally feeling okay with the loss of my car. They literally saved my opinion of Strathmore Ford.
