If 0/10 was an option I'd give that instead of a 1 star. I've dealt with Heritage Credit Union (now Stellar Vista) for over 8 years. I've never had a problem with the bank until they switched over. What a mistake that was..... I've always got paid on a Friday morning however I've noticed that my funds don't show up in my account until the following week. 1 day late to many! I got bills to pay on time!! That's not the only issue. Multiple times now I've been charged over $100 because I went over my card limit.... according to the lady on the phone I tapped my card more than 5 times so I was charged this absurd fee (keep in mind she told me I could only use my card 5 times a month!) This bank is nothing but a headache. I know pretty much everyone in 2 towns where most of its locals use Stellar Vista. I'll be sure to tell them to seek a different bank to bank with.

For the last 17 years I’m coming in your Cranbrook Branch.

In the last year I experienced discrimination first-hand in a couple of cases while I was dealing with your tellers.
Now I happens every time I’m coming in.

Emails don’t get answered.

It looks like they don't even care about providing a decent user experience, customer service for them is just all talk and no action.

They are not willing to communicate professionally.

If you are actively committed to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) at every level of your organization you should have a closer look on your Cranbrook Branch.

If there is no feed back from you I'll make sure to warn others about the poor service and lack of accountability here.

It looks like it's time to go to another bank.

What a disaster of a bank. I’ve been trying to close my account for over 2 weeks and I’ve had person after person fail at getting back to me. Even after numerous complaints they haven’t been making any effort to improve. Heritage Credit Union was a far better bank, and this is one of many reasons I'm cancelling.

Oh, great! So now you extend your "sincere apologies" after I've already moved my business to a real bank that actually values its customers. Your response feels insincere and too little, too late. If you truly cared about your customers, you would have addressed these issues when I was still with you.

And don't even get me started on your so-called commitment to "Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI)." It's just empty words to cover up your lack of action and accountability. I experienced discrimination first-hand while I was with your bank, and now you want me to come forward and report it? Like I didn't try to address it before and was ignored!

As for your "digital improvements," they are too little and too slow. Your app is a disaster, and it's unbelievable how outdated and unresponsive it is. It's no wonder it often doesn't work. It's like you don't even care about providing a decent user experience.

I don't need your "constructive feedback" nonsense. I've already given you enough feedback when I was still your customer, and it fell on deaf ears. Your credit union is just all talk and no action.

I've moved on to a bank that actually values its customers and provides modern and efficient services. Good riddance to your credit union and its empty promises. I won't be coming back, and I'll make sure to warn others about the poor service and lack of accountability here. Save your apologies for someone who still cares about your bank.

Avoid this credit union at all costs. Highly unprofessional service, emails and calls get screened (think 20+ phone calls, voicemails and emails).

Their mortgage “professional” chose to ghost us on our purchase contract deadline day, not once, but twice.

I put a stop payment on my account for speedy cash and they said that the funds would be returned yesterday at 5pm and still haven't seen my money returned. Kinda upset because now I'm short on rent by that amount. Kinda mad that they let a payment through for auto insurance and ICBC has no record of it. I only have 1 vehicle and it's not that amount that is missing. Kinda mad that someone took mu money and not owing up to it

Fantastic bank with great service!
App is lacking basic functions and responsiveness. Often Doesn't work.
Hours are minimal and inconvenient.
The Service and Phone Services are very helpful.

The Credit Union is a great bank to do business with. Small, responsive, great service! The one aspect they struggle with is keeping up with the digital leaders in online banking.
