Stopped in to use the bank machine and wanted to change $20's into $5's. Not allowed due to belonging to the wrong Credit union. Seems like what you would expect from a big bank than a small town credit union....which is where my business is transitioning to......the $5's are for cash gratuities while I'm traveling. The clerk's final comment was why don't you get them from the bank machine (which I would have if it was a valid option)....worst part is they were blasting Christmas music (August) while I was in line for 15-20 min.

I used a trusted broker to secure a decent rate on my new mortgage and the deal ended up going through Servus. It took 4 months of me hassling and reminding my advisor to get my payment frequency changed. This resulted in about 12 payments I lost and thus charged the corresponding extra interest which I did not authorize. Prior to signing my paperwork I was assured by my advisor that changing my payment frequency would be no problem, obviously that wasn't true. I now have it sorted out, but you can be sure when my renewal is up I won't be resigning with Servus.

I have been a member of Servus for years! I know as a woman of colour the fight is always different. We always have to be advocating for ourselves loudly and always have to fighting to stay ahead of the game! The level of disrespect I was thrown my way at this institution is appalling. As an institution you protect you customers or that's what is suppose to be done! Time and time again I have to be advocating for myself and loudly as well. Then to have a branch manager rudely tell you take your business elsewhere !! Had a duplicate transaction on my account that's sent me account onto overdraft so I questioned why would you let 2 transaction with the same transaction number go through wouldn't that raised a red flag and wouldn't I be notify. I was told it was my fault it I made transaction and they can't do nothing to help me. I said yes but it was in canadian and you saw they came back again and charge me in US. I was like okay! My bad !
Made an appointment for the 1st I am not stupid for the 1st that's my day off. Tried calling all day on the 29th to verify the appointment they can't find me in the system. Not for any appointments called over and over again no answer , no coomunication from them. Went into the Servus moring of the 1st was told my appointment was the 29th I said no I did not book for the 29th why would I book on a work day. I specifically told the cashier I have a day off the FRIDAY MARCH 1ST SO ITS PERFECT STUCK IT IN MY GOOGLE CALENDAR only mistake did not place the time hence the call on the 29th to verify the time. Again rudely the manager stepped in not an apology we may have placed the wrong day in I am not crazy I know the time I booked. Remember our conversation maybe we are not the right instution for you! How f..king rude and disrespectfulllll! That's the best you can come up with for a mistake that you guys made!!

On top of that, Servus had the best interest rates BY FAR for both our mortgage & our vehicle loans. We actually ended up moving our loans over from Scotiabank to Servus after we set up our mortgage. Needed a business bank account opened in a hurry, my home bank of TD told me I'd have to wait two weeks for a phone appointment. Manish met me in person 15 minutes before closing and had my business account and personal account set up the next business day. This bank needs a renovation. The druve thru bank machine never works properly and there isn't one you can walk up to. I have to drive into spruce if I need to use the machine. I won't even bother coming to this branch anymore.
