My 85 year old mother banks at this location. She always talks about how great the staff are there. This week I had to go in with her to look into issues with her on-line banking and credit card
Kristy greeted us a we came through the door. She was so awesome with my mom.
She calmly and professionally listened to all of the issues mom had and one by one looked into them and corrected them. It was the best part of a challenging day.
She confirmed that mom had the correct branch phone and email numbers to address future issues that may not require a branch visit.
Way to go Kristy and Servus.

Teller made sure to question me about closing a savings account I don’t use, which was not why I was there. Then made a face and asked if there was anything else, completely forgetting that I’ve been standing and waiting for a bank card. I’m changing banks anyway due to unprofessionalism and general lack of knowledge from Servus.

Worst experience with a bank ever. I put $1000 for a secured Mastercard in August. The FA didn’t even send the application in so I never received the card. Then she quit or was let go 2 weeks later. The second FA got the address wrong even after confirming it with me so again I never got my card. And the third person said she would send it expedited to the branch for pick up but never got approval from the manager so once again I still don’t have my card!! I am NOT happy and the sheer incompetence of the people working here makes me worried about my SMC going through them.

I've been banking with the red deer downtown branch for years and years now and I'm pretty much done with them. No matter what day or time of day you call them for banking info they say they are having high call volumes, I'm sitting here sometimes waiting over 25 minutes on hold! Very frustrating, they also decide when and how much to take out of my account for service fees, sometimes it's 5 bucks sometimes its 30? Not impressed and after waiting on hold for 20 minutes today I will be switching banks for sure

Terrible and pathetic service, I was contacted by their branch manager Brett Of Parkland square Red deer. After weeks of no contact or response I started to call and leave messages to just get a response or reply on what was happening.
After a month he finally picks his phone up and says it's another departments problem and ignores me.
I desperately recommended anyone who reads this to contact any other company, I lost thousands due to their inability to communicate back to me.

I went to put in a cheque from my grandparents today and they told me they had to hold it even tho I have never had to wait before, I had a cheque from them a few months prior that went in with no holds and she told me that it wasn't possible and I had to wait. She then put the money into the wrong account after I told her what account it needed to go into; I don't have issues with any other servus credit union other than this one constantly. Please listen to your customers...

Considering leaving all of Servus simply because the downtown branch closes their ATMs when they aren’t open. Their ATMs are unavailable more often then they are available.
