I have belonged to Credit Union since my dad opened an account for me in 1963. I am so unimpressed by what it has become. It certainly no longer can say it is a community service as it just keeps amalgamating and moving to big cities and I live in a pretty big city and we have a small office. A member needs to book an appointment days in advance to get an answer or talk to a knowledgeable person who has likely been recently transferred into the location. Even when doing that, the appointment gets messed up and the person is not there to speak to you! A receptionist behind a desk is the only face you see not looking very business like at all 🙁. I guess I will be looking for a new financial establishment.

Do not switch your mortgage to them (or anything else really)

Cannot setup simple automatic payments correctly even with multiple tries. No option to do it myself online and their staff are incompetent so what's the point of using them. If you miss a call from them good luck getting through to someone who's not in their call center in India. If a call drops do they call you back? No and again good luck getting through. I have never been deliquent on anything until I switched to this incompetent group of buffoons.

Worse bank ever. They do not have any faith in people unless they have lots of money even people who make over 100,000 and are try to make some changes in there life they say no to. They give you false hope just to slam a big fat No into your face. This was a process that went on since Feb 2022 and went through 3 different advisors since they push you aside because let’s be real they don’t care about us. I would never recommend them to anyone in my life. And will be never dealing with them again. I found out the answer now in July that they won’t even lend me 15,000 dollars it’s not tons of money but they sure are useless. Only go there if you want your time wasted away asking for more documents every time.
