In the spring of 2024 we enlisted the help of Darren Haydar of Ryan Haydar Real Estate/ Revel Escarpment Realty to search for a new smaller home as we were downsizing from a 5 level 2200 sq ft back split. Initially we were thinking of a smaller bungalow style home and Darren began selecting various properties within the parameters of our needs.
Darren would always have some back ground information on the house and the area it was situated in, pro's and con's. He was always there for us even at short notice if we saw something we were interested in as our search continued he was able to fine tune into our wants and needs , then we threw him a curve ball as we decide we would be better suited to a condo.
Without missing a beat he shifted gears and direction and began presenting condo's we might be interested in, once again tuning in to our want and needs.
He always has your best interests at heart and during one showing there were renters that had not vacated the premises, this raised a red flag, he did more research and found out that it was rather unlikely that they would move out willingly and told us that we were not going to put an offer and would continue looking.
We looked at a few units and Darren always provided things for consideration that we didn't even think about.
Then he found a similar unit that had just been listed and advised us immediately of it's availability, we booked a viewing and when we walked in the door we knew Darren had hit the nail on the head!
When we decided to list our home we knew that Darren and Ryan would once again have our best interests at heart. They reviewed our home and made recommendations that would make our home more presentable, ( de-clutter, depersonalize). When deciding the listing price they provided a realistic range of suggested prices with solid documentation to support their recommendation.
We had our first open house the weekend after listing it and a week and a half later our home was sold .
Thank you Darren and Ryan We have a great new home and we are very happy with what our home sold for .
Many realtors will promise you the moon to get the listing , then come back to lower the price when it isn't selling after weeks of being on the market!
Ryan stated "price it realistically and it will sell, do you want to sell it or just list it!"
