Your "manager" shirley. let's people budge in line!!! Even when they see me waiting for 30 mins. Absolutely unacceptable. I get the short staff thing. But she tried to defend herself as well. I will be contacting head RBC.

This is the slowest rbc branch I have ever had the misfortune of using. The staff is professional, however I have never seem employees waste time like this. Full lobby, 4 tellers working the counter, but three of them are laughing and chatting while side-eyeing the ever growing lineup. Minimum time spent here is 20 minutes. No hustle, no drive, no care for the customers, time or general efficiency. If you can, bank anywhere else.

Sorry excuse for a bank. Been six weeks haven’t gotten my debit card. It’s my first bank account and I don’t even have access to my money; even after Christmas has already passed. Wasn’t able to get gifts for family because this bank seems to like to hire people with zero experience and knowledge in the field. They’d be better off hiring a chimp.
I hope this bank knows their worth (nothing) and hopefully they’ll hire useful people in the future if they don’t shut down for fraud and lying!

I really have a bad experience with this RBC Branch. I keep coming back to RBC strathmore 5x just to apply for a credit card and I got nothing. Each time I come back they ask me another document. It is very ridiculous because some of my friends were able to apply for a credit card within the day. It is unreasonable, if you keep asking your client to come back again for the 5th time. It wastes my effort and time. Some of the people working there seem to be unsure on what they are doing. There are a lot of discrepancies when it comes to the information that they are giving too. The operating hours during weekdays is from 9:30am - 5:00pm but when I went there around 2pm they’re already closed. I appreciate how polite the staffs are but they must be retrained or at least know what they’re doing. If you are planning to apply for a credit card, please don’t come to this branch, better go to Calgary.

Went into branch, made appointment for a loan. Showed up 10 min. early 2 weeks later. Branch was EMPTY, Twenty min. later loan guy says, "sorry, Didn't see you there (by myself in an empty customer seating area). Fine. Loan guy says, "I can't help you", " someone else (don't remember their name), will call you by the end of the day. That was at least 2 months ago. What a JOKE coming from RBC, but look at current Federal Gov't. The APPLE and the TREE What about the CBCee. That reminds me. Cancel my RBC account across the board. PS. we have plenty of collateral. -10 review

Lied to me for months locked my account, Apparently going to the store you signed up at doesn’t matter or showing 4 different ids ALL MINE. And they just “called security” too see what they can do surprise it was nothing so I will be leaving cause how are you gonna be Canada's #1 bank and not serve Canadian's 110%. I would recommend any other bank in Canada before you go to RBC cause they will put you before anything…

If your American, don't try to exchange your US cash for CAD here. They will ask you for your member card, and when you tell them you don't have one, you just want to exchange some cash, they'll look you in the eyes and tell you they can't help you. I guess they don't like American tourists spending money in their country. Go next door to ATB, they will gladly help you with a smile.
