I wish I didn't have to choose my local branch. But helpful for anyone near by.

Accident 2020 not at fault (Someone turned into me). Dec 2023 deer runs out in front of me. Another vehicle write-off. Buy new vehichle. Asked for house insurance and vehicle insurance total. Guy only gives auto. I say perfect that's what I was paying before.

(After he tried to upsell me for more liability and says a couple more dollars a month, that ended up being 120 a year when I fought for an actual price). "Umm no thanks" *always ask for a total, as I'm not sure the legality of these tactics*

Fast forward. New vehicle - 2010 truck to 2012 suv. Insurance went from $126 to $218 a month.

I say something is wrong they tell me year of vehicle. I say you're crazy and something is wrong they say "nope"

I phone broker to shop around. Brokers quote comes back $218.... I say "why? I don't understand?" He finds 2020 accident has been dinging my insurance the whole time my rating went from a 7 to a 3.

Now I spend a week on the phone everyday arguing. I phone Aviva (rbc insurance is through) Aviva agreed wrongful code on accident. Corrects it. Now I am not at fault.

Phone RBC, offered $86 in rebate for overpaying. From first year. Says remaining years I was protected by one time not at fault. (One time not at fault was not used Aviva stated so because they marked me %50 at fault) so I was not protected the rest of the years and if I was why did my insurance go from a 7 - 3.

I asked RBC my new rate. It went down $8 a month still marking the over $200 mark. I phone broker, send proof of not at fault. Does not include my rating and the accident

$122 a month.

If you made it to the end of this. Please please please just stay away.

No one would listen something is wrong and at the end it was never correctly corrected and offered nothing to help except multi vehicle discounts etc. but clearly the numbers were still coming in regarding rating / accident. I left.

I am so distraught they can devalue my insurance credit raking in more money from myself. Lie about it only affecting me 1 year. Hide it behind a paywall of saying it's my vehicles year and to keep paying the high rate so they can double dip from the 100 percent compensation from the other party from 2020 and again Aviva told me the 1 time at fault was "not used" RBC said it was.

It's a nightmare.

Had a due payment on may 31 and I paid through my sister’s card on may 30 and gave them a call informing that i have made the payment manually but today when I logged in to see my next payment due, they charged with $50 nsf fee. For what? And when I called them, they say that my original card was charged and they refunded cause my card had insufficient balance and what’s funnier is that I don’t see a single transaction of neither my money pulled out or refund in my online banking for that payment amount. Worst. Giving so much of frustration
