I had worst experience today with this branch.
Using this branch over 4 years now. I went to deposit a cheque from my customer and it was never on hold from last 4 years. A new branch manager walks in saying ‘I can’t cash this cheque and it’s gonna be hold for 5 business days.” And leaves. The guy did not even have courage to talk and explain and he ordered like he owns the bank.
Dude how I am going to run the business if you are holding my regular cheques that comes in everyday and with no returns in last 5 years.
Such a terrible service.

The worst branch experience ever. They "accidentally" blocked my card and told me I could fix it by calling the support line. After waiting on hold for 2 hours, they said they couldn’t fix it and that I needed to order a new card at the branch. The next day, I went back to the branch and ordered it. They said it would arrive at home in 7-10 business days. I never received any call notifying me that my card had arrived. When it didn’t arrive, I called the branch but no one answered. The support line told me to wait another week. I haven't received any call that my card has arrived. A month later, I went back to the branch to check if the card had arrived, and they simply handed it to me. The staff member just threw the card and walked away. Terrible customer service.

Literally line ups out the door out the door. Hire more staff for front line service. Millions in profits for banks and they cant afford more staff? Time to shop for a new bank institution with better service, or at least move branches. This one way too busy and low staffing.

Deposited $905 through the teller but she never actually put it in my account. Also I did not get a receipt or think to ask for one because she had me distracted by talking to be about signing up for an Avion points account. A few hours later I signed into my online banking only to find that that $905 was no where to be found. Wasted over an hr on the phone with RBC who could not get through to anyone at this branch. Feeling super stressed out about this I decided to catch a cab to deal with this in person. The issue was taken care but caused me unnecessary stress and took up valuable time. Be careful at this location and make sure you get a receipt!

My brother booked an appointment for opening a new account with JAY TANK. He waited for half an hour over there and still wasn’t attended by anyone. Finally we had to go to the receptionist to ask about Jay and she mentioned that he was busy with a walk-in. I believe no one at RBC head office is looking at the horrible reviews of this branch. I have never seen such an unprofessional person like JAY TANK who doesn’t even care about his booked appointments. It’s not over yet. I am going to file a formal complaint against this person on RBC HEAD OFFICE as well

The app is failing to enter and asking to update app. It's transfering to google play and there is no updates available. And it's locking to that loop so I can't use the app.
I can't receive money from my clients so I can't issue the receipts. So it's affecting my business.
Update (18.10.24):
It's still not working. Now it says: "this app is not compatible with your device".
I will wait for a few days, and when withdraw my funds from RBC and change the bank.
I checked with mobile apps for others banks on my phone, like CIBC, BMO, Scotia, and others. They are all available except yours.

Please don't apologize admitting your impotence - just fix it or let's say good bye.

P.S. if you restricted me from using my phone with your app, please provide me with the phone you think will fit your new requirements or you will lose the client who have been with you for 6 years.

Loved the interior and disliked the welcoming person. She yelled at me to stop photographing the interior décor. There was nothing I photographed that had anything financial or anything. She asked me to leave. First time and last time entering this location

I went in this location and stand in the line for long. Then i felt to use the washroom because of the “LONG” line and the staff are just hesitant to completely deny of me using it. I leave the place immediately. Such a worse experience using RBC as my bank for many years. Such a huge profitable bank that cannot provide a simple ammenity (washroom) for their loyal customers?it speaks volume how they treat their customer. Such a disappointment!
