I went in to get a document notarized, and the process was quick and smooth. They are upfront about their costs for it on their website, which I appreciated.

They also photocopied my document as a courtesy - when he offered to and I said yes without thinking, I was thinking maybe I got swindled and there was going to be a fee for it. But I was pleasantly surprised to see it was done for no cost. Thanks for going above and beyond!

inquired to Brian about getting a charge done, first asked me to go in person to office to do it, later asked me to provide credit card upfront via email, then upon asking to clarify some questions (before giving full payment) he said he's too busy sorry then ghosted me after. Have never encountered such a strange customer service with a person before.

One of the worst insurance companies we have ever dealt with. We have been paying for overpriced house insurance with this broker for years. Our calls to ask about better rates or alternatives were always answered with brisk and annoyed responses, making us feel as if we were a nuisance, and they were too busy to have time to deal with us. Or, most recently, the staff member I spoke to seemed completely uninterested and morose. Finally, we had more than enough. We called another broker, and were pleasantly surprised to find a positive, informative and welcoming insurance broker.....who would have thought? AND we are now insured for MORE and are paying over $400 less a year. PLEASE go elsewhere.

I chose Rainbow over some of the larger franchise or chain insurance places because of Rainbow's personal touch. A nearby automotive shop recommended them for all their insurance purposes and while, at first, it seems kind of amateur, small, and outdated (the place looks like a parody of a 1970s old boys club small sales office) it's exactly those traits that make Rainbow great. It's the personal touch, and the human interaction. Not for everyone, but if you value straightforward expertise and working with someone who cares about your insurance (not just one of hundreds of employees) this is your place. In the end I've found they actually know a lot more than I expected, and help me directly with even my smallest problems and questions.

I called them because they are open the latest. When I inquired about them open till 7, the guy said dont come at 7. The rudeness was palatable. Eventually we settled on 5:30. Then i asked how long it will take, he replied that it depends how many people walk in and how often he gets distracted. then i checked the reviews here on maps. they are accurate and based on my experience. I'm not going here. Thank you nanny state for making our choice of insurance non existent.

I was in the process of registering my car from QC in BC. I spent the last two weeks trying to get my registration/ insurance with this company, ended up going into the office 3 separate times and spoke on the phone with them several times. I was asked to pay a tax bill for several hundred dollars which I did with my credit card, only to be told their system had crashed, there was no way to refund me right away and asked me to pay again. They told me I was going to get my refund via cheque on a specific date which didn't arrive. I was so disappointed with their service that I decided to go elsewhere. The other company did everything for me in an hour and also told me I didn't have to pay my tax bill, saving me several hundred dollars (after providing additional documentation).
A long story short I would never use this company.
