I have been going here for about ten years. I find the people who run this facility polite, friendly and very helpful. They occasionally help off load my truck. With the minimum cost whether I have one bag or a full truck load, I take a truck load! I’ve learned over the years that I get treated the way I carry myself and these folks have always treated me just fine.

Checked out website to confirm that they were open before loading up, called number obviously but not in service, but website said open till 4 pm. Got there and gate open pulled up on scales and old man at my window yelling and screaming what am I doing here. Foul language dirty mouthed old man telling me that they are not open. Tried to show him my phone with his website and he didn’t care. Called me names and called me a liar!! Got home and rechecked website as well as 4 other people and said open till 4pm. So you can’t talk to him or reason with him he should not run a business or deal with public. One of the worst experiences of my life.

Was excellentvery helpful full hard workers this family has worked hard all their life s in any business they went into. Also employ a lot people over the years ! And thou he could retire no he still contributes to this community He and his family set a fine example. On work ethics and his young grand kids. Too he very know I able about any type businesses a lot people could learn from people like him and his offspring and his Beautiful wife who always put her family first and yes she had lots patience

The owner of this company, Burt Nibourg, is a rude and offensive individual. I’ve been there a few times, and every time he is there, he has been condescending and somewhat aggressive.

Recently, I came with my pickup truck with some home renovation materials.
Instead of backing up all the way into there facility, close to the pile, I started to unload where the concrete floor starts, with fear of nails puncturing my tires. Knowing that they a have a skidsteer to push material to the actual pile.
No one came over as I initially backed in, but Burt came over and started to rant and rave, threatening me to never let me back again..
He told me that I would have to pay an additional $10 for the fuel of the skidsteer.
I smiled and apologized and told him I would pay the extra!
I would think the use of that machine is included in his disposal fees!!
I know a tire for my vehicle is quite significantly much more expensive.
Anyway, his facility is an option we all need, unfortunately Mr. Nibourg makes it a very unpleasant experience!!

I honestly have to say I don’t at all feel safe going to this dump. The man who runs the machine literally crushes garbage maybe a foot from you while your unloading. What if he crushed a propane tank and it explodes near me or if something flew off and hit my vehicle. Or what if I slipped while throwing something off! It’s extremely dangerous that he does this so close to people. I’m pretty sure he does it so people can’t go through the trash for treasures, but to risk hurting you honestly it’s awful and extremely dangerous.

The rudest person I have ever met, I would rather drive to kingston then deal with that guy again!

I was there a few minutes before they close and they let me in and even help me unload the truck, it was great!
