Their website and google says they are open on Sundays at 9am. I had some money from a trip I had to exchange. I waited until 9:20 outfront with no employee in-sight. I called several times as well with no answer. Absurd customer service. It’s a miracle that a place that operates in a way that obstructs their own business can still exist. Do better

My recent visit to Primex Exchange on Lonsdale Ave in North Vancouver was nothing short of a disappointment. I had gone to this exchange with the intention of converting cryptocurrency, but the encounter left me thoroughly dissatisfied.

One of the most glaring issues I encountered was the absence of set rates for cryptocurrency exchange. Transparency and clarity in terms of exchange rates are fundamental expectations when dealing with cryptocurrency transactions. Unfortunately, Primex Exchange failed to provide any clear rates, leaving customers in the dark about the terms of their transactions. This lack of transparency was not only frustrating but also made it nearly impossible to assess whether the exchange was offering a fair deal.

However, the lack of set rates was only the beginning of my ordeal. The unprofessional behavior of the staff compounded my dissatisfaction. Upon my arrival, I was subjected to a barrage of intrusive questions about my cryptocurrency and the purpose of my exchange as well as the amount. To make matters worse, after enduring this interrogation, I was left waiting without any clear indication of whether the exchange would proceed with my request or not.

One of the staff turns to the other saying Mr. such and such, do we buy today or no? This is highly unprofessional as they don't even know whether they are going to do it or not. Their services should be available to all costumers regardless.

Incredibly, after all the questions and the considerable amount of time I spent at the exchange, they ultimately decided not to provide the service I had come for. This was the final straw in my disappointing experience at Primex Exchange. Such behavior is not only unprofessional but also highly disrespectful to customers who have invested their time and trust in the business.

In conclusion, Primex Exchange failed to meet even the most basic standards of professionalism during my visit. Their lack of set rates, invasive questioning, and ultimately refusing to provide the requested service left me with a negative impression of their business. I strongly caution anyone considering using Primex Exchange to explore alternative options for currency exchange in North Vancouver that offer transparency, professionalism, and respect for their customers. My experience has certainly discouraged me from returning to Primex Exchange in the future.
