Great customer service and online banking experience.  Each time I need to go into the branch for a bank draft or withdraw a large sum of cash, the staff at the counter are always so helpful to ensure all my needs are met.  I do most of my banking on the bank app and it makes life so much easier on a day-to-day basis.

I would like to leave zero stars! My whole family have used National bank at one time or another and all
Left because of the terrible customer service! They make you jump thru every hoop for the most basic needs! Every time I go in there- there isn’t a familiar face in each office. They constantly rotate staff thru different branches. They must “see the manager “ for the most Ridiculous basic requests!
NOBODY ever answers the phones!!!!!!!! I have to give them days notice to get $5000 cash out!
One by one all
Of my family and friends have moved from there! Not sure if it is only the Bayfield st Barrie branch that has these problems

Just switched to national bank because I heard about their great service. The employees were very helpful and quick with their service. I highly recommend this bank for people who want a personal relationship with their banking advisors!

ZERO STARS!! Absolutely terrible experience at this bank!!!! The person calling himself a Banking Advisor is totally incompetent. I was forced to go to the Barrie branch to simply hand over documents instead of simply e-mailing them, I had to drive there twice to do this because I am the executor of my brother's will. I live 125km away but there was no accommodation for that. To make matters much worse, the so called Banking Advisor clearly did not bother to look over the financial statements and understand the situation thereby costing my brother's estate a significant amount in probate tax. What person working with investments does not know to closely check the beneficiary information? This is a very emotional time for a family member tasked with being the executor, dealing with an incompetent bank representative is inexcusable, it leaves me with no choice but to now spend time filing an official complaint with head office. I certainly hope they are a little more intelligent and sensitive!

I have dealt with Leanne Pollo for years at National Bank and have had nothing but a great experiences. She has since transferred to the 60221 Commercial Banking Centre but continues to help me if I reach out. I recently had an issue and Leanne pointed me in the right direction to help resolve the problem right away. 5 star service and knowledge

If there would be an option, not to give any stars, I would, went to the bank just now to get cash, unfortunately teller Cathy Fileccia decide that I can only withdraw 2000 dollars, even there is money on the account. Worst bank ever STAY AWAY from this bank.

Updates after a month.

Me and my wife went the bank to close all our accounts obviously!!
Also we found out that Cathy Fileccia reported us that we are laundering money.

Manager contacted me few days after that asking if I can remove the negative review because it’s it’s agains the law lol, no apologies whatsoever, next step we are going to make formal complaint how they treat people.

Great experiences with John and Leann who handled my unique issue knowledgeably and speedily. Always a pleasure. Most of my banking is done with BMO, but they dropped the ball significantly on this issue and NBC picked it back up.
