I would give them a -1 but that isn't a choice. Was trying to move to BC. They called me every month to confirm how much my car was out of the province. It was harassment! Then when I confirmed that I was going to be staying in Alberta they raised my monthly insurance by $100. The reason was my postal code changed and the new postal code was a more risky place to drive my car. What a money grab!

Been a client with home and auto insurance for over 30 years. Not the treatment that I expected! About a 30% increase!

Policy increase of 20% for NO reason. Got other insurance, called to cancel, was told it was too soon to cancel. I cancelled anyway. At renewal date, they took the renewal payment and I had to call. I was blamed for not calling back again. 6-8 weeks for a refund.

I am so dissapointed with Morgex. I had great experiences up until this year when I had to renegotiate my car insurance. We agreed to a premium on the phone and I received a letter in the mail now saying that I am paying significantly higher. I anticipate a fight with the insurance company.

Additionally, when I purchased my home, they did not cancel my rental insurance so I had been paying an extra $34.00 per month. They have refunded only half and are requesting a letter from my landlord to confirm that I no longer rent and purchased a home. What a freaking joke. I am angry and they have wasted SO MUCH OF MY TIME.

Horrific. These guys advertise directly to the ATA, but beware: if you need customer service in Western Canada they are only open until 3pm... Yes, that's while you are teaching. They've been bought by Intact who are the same as Unifund, and if you have any issues absolutely no one will care. I escalated my claim 3 times because my adjuster ghosted me and I was not called back once. I had to request a new adjuster 4 times before I got one. Absolutely brutal service from this company that eats away your hours as you attempt to get the service you've paid for.

Follow up. I received a call from Morgex and they processed the cards. I improved the rating by two stars.

Yesterday at approx 12pm I called Morgex to revise a serial number on my automotive policy. One of the numbers on the VIN was incorrect (4 and should have been 1). I was not able to register my vehicle after driving for 25 minutes to do it. I called on agent and was cut off somehow. She did not make the change or email me to give a reason. I called back two hours later and the next contact said that he would email the first and ask her to make the change. Today I called again and the attendant asked me more than a half dozen questions to confirm my identity. That was not enough and he asked me to email the policy. Can you imagine me emailing them my policy? I finally managed to email it this afternoon (24 hours later) and the bounce email say that emails are addressed in the order that they are received. It is over 24 hours and I have still not received my updated insurance cards via email. All to correct one number on a VIN. Also, I revised my phone number on the system with the first attendant but the next two could not recognize it even though I had to use it to access the automated phone system. To top it off there is a horrendously long intro on the phone system before you can even get through - how many times do I need to know about a discount that was offered from April to June?

Never had any problems with them till recently, I have been with them sense I started driving 14 years ago. In December or 2016 I got a 2017 ram 1500, Insurance rate was fine, in 2021 I traded and got myself a 2020 jeep cherokee trailhawk, Insurance increased by $30 a month ( that's fine ) but than this year I decided a truck just better suited my needs and traded In getting 2019 ram 1500, thinking my rate should go back down or even maybe stay the same, nope! My monthly payments went up triple, no accidents, no tickets. Time to call around and move on to another Insurance company I think.

I would give zero stars if possible. My vehicle was involved in a hit and run (0% fault) months ago- my adjuster took 5+ emails for every 1 response I received. It was a huge hassle getting reimbursed for my carseat as my adjuster was incorrectly asking for 2 carseat photos when I was only claiming one which resulted in multiple unnecessary back and forths. When I went to pick up my vehicle, I was notified on the phone that my deductible had not been waived despite multiple requests on my behalf and my adjuster saying it was taken care of over a week prior. When I dropped off my rental at Enterprise I was informed my rental had only been approved to a certain date at which point I was now past therefore I would not receive my deposit back. Then I picked up my repaired vehicle to find not everything in working order at which time I was unable again to reach my adjuster. I have now escalated my claim over 2 weeks ago and cannot get a call back from anyone in this company including a new adjuster that has been assigned as well as their manager. Do not give your money to this company, they do not care about their customers whatsoever. This has been the biggest joke trying to get help on a matter that I have zero fault in. There were other issues I haven't listed as there are too many.

Average wait time to speak to an agent is 30+ minutes and they do not respond to emails - I've sent 2 in the last week. I put a claim in July 2017 as I was rear ended and was given the run around. I was told to send in the quote from Carstar which I did multiple times to multiple people. Months went by with no follow up. I finally followed up and was told they were waiting for my quote. I sent it again. Another month went by and still nothing. I emailed again with no response. Another month went by and I received an email from a different agent asking if I still wanted to get the work done. At this point I said no. This process has been more than ridiculous and I'm done wasting my time.
I called last Monday for a quote on a new vehicle that I was buying. Tuesday I called they gave me insurance and I picked up my vehicle. They said something was wrong with their system but they would give me a call once it was straightened out. No one called. Thursday I emailed about cancelling the insurance on my old vehicle - no response. Friday I called to cancel my old policy and was told, actually we can't insure you because of one ticket you had back in 2016; you need to find a new insurance company. I had been with Morgex 17 years. No at fault accidents, no lapse in coverage, no missed payments. Their customer service is repugnant. I have cancelled all of my policies with Morgex.
