I cannot express how satisfied I am with our recent POST-CONSTRUCTION cleaning provided by Mop 2 It.

We were working on a rental house that was poorly taken care of. New flooring was installed before drywall so it had plenty of dust, painter’s tape and worst of all dry mud. I wasn’t expecting such a thorough cleaning and they even got rid of the funky smell of the place!

They definitely went above and beyond and even cleaned the mechanical room. This was our first experience with this company and I cannot wait to use them again on our own renovation / show home projects! All at a reasonable rate done in less than a day!

I highly recommend this company to any builders / contractors who need their projects to stand above the rest. Thanks again!

The first time I had Mop to it Cleaning Services clean my home was after our home builder did some repair work two months after we took possession of our home. The two ladies that did the cleaning were fabulous, Linda and her accomplice cleaned up all the mess left behind from the repairs. She even found some debris left from the initial construction. I can’t compliment them enough, she even gave me a few tips to make my cleaning easier.
Unfortunately the next time I needed a cleaning after our builder had painters in to do more repair work my experience wasn’t the same as the first. The two women came to the door without any supplies and started to question me about what work I wanted done. I explained that the whole house needed dusting and to be wiped down. Nick nacks and all because everything was covered in a fine dust from all the sanding. The one employee said I’m not here to clean your toilets, I will only wipe the counters, vacuum and wash the floor. When I showed her the white film of dust everywhere she said we are contract cleaners we don’t do housework. I was promised by my builder that they would have a crew out to clean up the mess, I didn’t appreciate her attitude about what she would clean and what she wouldn’t. I was very upset that I had waited for two days in a dirty house for the cleaners to come do the cleaning as my builder couldn’t book them any sooner, then to have this happen I was furious. When she said she wouldn’t do all of the cleaning I told them to leave. Totally different experience from the first, this woman gave me the impression that she just didn’t want to do the work. I certainly won’t depend on this company again.

There seems to be a bit of miscommunication here. I was under the impression that my builder had explained the extent of the cleaning that needed to be done however that didn’t happen. After reading the owner’s response I would like to clarify a few things. The first time your cleaners came to my home they showed up with their supplies ready to work, that was what I expected this time also. As I already mentioned the builder knew the extent of the mess, however that was not explained to you. I am sorry if you thought I was rude to your employee, I wasn’t. If anything she was rude by saying to me that she’s not here to clean my toilets and it’s not her job to do my house work, she is there to wipe counters, vacuum and wash the floor. I won’t argue that I was upset when I pointed out the layer of white dust all over every surface in my house and she still refused to do any further cleaning. My expectations were that I would receive the same type of cleaning that I received on an earlier visit from your company by your employee Linda. In your comments you failed to recognize my praise for your employee Linda and the other lady that worked with her on a earlier visit. They did a fabulous job, I showed them what needed to be done and they went to work, no more questions asked. I was very satisfied with their work that day. The builder needs to take responsibility for the mess that has been created today. This has not been a good experience for you and your company and I still have a home that needs a thorough cleaning and it will be me doing it. Not to mention that it has been very upsetting for me also and I am not in good health.

The services was spectacular, the staff were professional, polite and thorough; the overall quality of the work was above expectations.
We had a major sewage backup - which needless to say was a bit of a mess - and Mop to It was able to come in and do a thorough deep clean for us. The entire affected area (laundry room, bathrooms, downstairs carpets...) were all meticulously cleaned and sanitized.

After the deep clean was done, Mop to It came to do a regular cleaning through the rest of the home. We are currently doing renovations, so the house needed some TLC. The Mop to It crew made the house look and feel like brand new in no time at all.

Even adding on additional services was incredibly easy - the business was able to accommodate service request add-ons after booking (cleaning areas/items like our fridge and oven), and did so in a no hassle manner. Kudos on the convenience and customer service.

I recommend Mop to It to anyone who needs a friendly, efficient and detailed cleaning service.

We recently moved from another province to our current home. Before moving in we wanted to have our new house professionally cleaned. I reached out to 3 different companies before selecting Moptoit. Their response time was quick in providing a quote and outlining their services. Honestly, I was hesitant at first to book them because their price was $200-$300 less than the other companies.
However, they were amazing. A team of 6 cleaners arrived first thing in the morning and they worked nonstop for 6 hours.(short lunch break). My husband who was at home was thoroughly impressed with the level of cleaning detail provided.

The crew at Mop To It do a fantastic job cleaning my house. I never have any complaints when I come home from work to a sparkling, clean house. I also appreciate the little touches they do when they fold my towels into fancy designs. It is the little things that make all the difference.
Mop To It always show up on time and never cancel my cleaning service. They are also great with my two dogs that are left at home when the cleaning is getting done. It’s so nice to know that I can leave my fur babies at home with no worries.
