Did the job but it took them 8 weeks when they said it would only take 3. I was constantly having to email them, complete lack of communication on their end, and then I kept getting the run around. Told they were completed, not completed, servers down, servers back up etc etc. It was just a mess. And then it took an entire week at the end for them to fix a simple mistake. They came highly recommended so I have to say I was extremely disappointed. To note, we were in there 2 weeks before any of the covid closures happened. For that reason, I don’t feel an additional 6 weeks to get them completed was reasonable at all.

The only positive I have to say is that they are reasonably priced. I have never used a tax service before (we had a more complicated return this year due to a move) and was expecting something outrageous. I was pleasantly surprised by the bill. But still frustrated considering I had to wait 2 months.

UPDATE: I completely forgot that I had this experience with this firm and reached out to them again for a tax issue. What a mistake! They are still HORRIBLE at communicating with their clients. I’m waiting weeks between emails and phone calls and I’m fed up. DO NOT USE THEM!

We used Alycia Calkins for a preliminary meeting and while we didn’t end up needing mnps services she was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful and definitely set us in the right direction! Would highly recommend her services.

We have expanded our asset for the past 2 years and so we require services from an accounting firm. We found MNP because it is local and based in FSJ. This is the worst service we have ever received. This people will not find time to communicate with their clients and worst, don't really do a good job. We ended up paying more to the government than what we anticipated. Pro-government? Don't care as long as they get paid? Never ever use this firm, wasted our time.

Long story but I came from owning my own home at 23 to literally having zero credit due to the increase in living in the Okanagan and a few bad spouts of luck! Brent here in the FSJ office was amazing as well and explained everything perfectly! I can finally breathe again and my life I back on track! Thanks so much Emma!! Only thing I wish is that I found you sooner and I would be paid off already 🙂
