First off i would like to say that making the decision was not easy. But im greatful that the people that I worked with made it easier for me. Diane was the first person I worked with. She helped me to understand what my options were and comforted me while I cried coming to terms with my situation.

The next person I had the pleasure of working with was Samantha. Once I signed everything and my estate was opened, that's what it's called i had no clue. She was in charge of my file. She was great about clarifying any questions I had. They send you letters or emails about every step of the process and I didn't understand it all, she was quick and friendly and made sure I knew what was happening with my bankruptcy.

And finally Sarah. She was my financial counselor. She was amazing. You have 2 mandatory sessions with a counselor. She gave me great ideas and tips. I was worried going into these I would feel bad or foolish or irresponsible for what I had done to myself but I wasn't. I was told your human, you made a mistake, let's work on how to fix it and make plans so this doesn't happen again. Everyone was great, but Sarah had the biggest boost to me making me feel like I could really do this. Like I wasn't a failure.

I was very nervous and feeling somewhat ashamed. Never did I think I would be going through something like this but it happened. The people at MNP are wonderful and made me feel very good during the whole process. They made me realize doing a consumer proposal was my best option and to feel good about my choice.

I had no idea what we were going to do, how things would end up. Going into bankruptcy is never an easy decision, but MNP has made it an wonderful process. Any and all options were fully explained, any questions we had were answered, nothing was hidden or shady like some consolidation companies can be. You get counselling and tons of information to help you going forward so that you hopefully never end up in a situation where you need them again! Definitely would recommend!
