Back on October 18th, 2024, I decided to engage Metcredt, where the client was not paying an overdue invoice, as I believed he would never pay me.

I sent it to MetCredit, who did a really professional job, and that allowed me to forget about it and work on my business. I was helped out by Dave Hopkyns from the Edmonton office, who was excellent. He guided me through the submission process, gave me updates when asked, and sorted out any issues that I had quickly.

I received 75% back on the total outstanding, which included overdue interest. When the return is compared to the original invoice amount, I received 90% of the original invoice. I am very happy with the result and would highly recommend that approach when needed.

Clearly a scam. I do not even have any undue payment, or not made any payment of any sort of any account. But I keep on getting calls from this company.
Nope, this is not defamatory review, but instead real. I do not have any outstanding account anywhere. Why don't you investigate first if it is legit before calling nonstop.

A word to the wise: The company made me jump through so many hoops to set up the account and upload the unpaid invoices. Then once they finally contacted the person, the customer services representative started taking the side of the debtor! It was so clear that the debtor hadn't paid the bills that were outstanding. All the information was provided. It was quite simple. I thought to myself, Who on earth are you working for? MetCredit is supposed to work for me to collect unpaid accounts. But they take the side of the delinquent. This collection agency is useless and I would never use it again. What's possible is that this company has been set up by a foreign government or a spy agency to vacuum data about people and use it to connect dots about all sorts of things. That could be why they continue to be so pointless and ineffective and provide bad service.

They call me SEVENTEEN times a day and then won’t listen to me when I try to tell them that everything I’ve seen from them is a scam and that the account they are trying to collect for isn’t even real and hasn’t been for YEARS.

Response to owner: I’m not dealing with you anymore. Your number has been blocked. Your employees don’t listen to me and you harass me. JUST like every other review here.

I got a mark on my credit and when I contacted Telus regarding it they gave me the phone number for this company. This company has never been in contact with me one time regarding any collection I apparently have with them. But I now have a ding in my credit for a collection. I believe this is all a scam. I have contacted a lawyer and will also go to the better business bureau

You like putting fake and illegal marks on my credit? It’s clearly fake, wait until I sue this company if it doesn’t get resolved. Imagine putting multiple 5000.00 + dents on someone’s credit for 0 reason. Actually breaking the law.

Horrible company to deal with impossible to get any satisfaction. They extorted me for money and held my credit over my head until it was paid in which the original charge was erroneous anyway.

We have been receiving their collection emails since Aug 23, 2022. We have responded to them multiple times the invoices in question were paid along with payment proof. However, they kept sending the same collection emails to us without any new feedback. It seems like this is all they can do as long as their client tells them account is not paid, they would keep sending you the same collection emails over and over again without checking the legitimacy of the collection amount claimed by their client.

In Aug 2023, I spoke to Debbie who advised me she would look into this and call me back but never did, and I was under the impression it was taken care as we didn't receive any further emails from them until Apr 10, 2024 where I had to call and left her message. I ended up calling again and spoke to Elena who advised she would talk to her manager to review the file and get back to me. She was very friendly explaining the situation at first but then got very impatient and today when I called her back for an update, she was very impolite and said what she needed to say and didn't bother for me to say anything back and just said bye, then hung up on me. She wouldn't be able to give me a timeline to resolve this and it seems like they are trying to drag this on.

I noticed from their Google Reviews that this seems to be the way they operate. I hope business can stay away from them as their integrity is in question. It is NOT right to have account on collection for almost 2 years when it was paid in full back in Sept and Dec 2020. I don't know what they are trying to gain here but we will not pay again for invoices along paid no matter how many emails they are trying to send.
