I transitioned my banking to Meridian 65 days ago, and my experience thus far has been extremely frustrating. On the second day, I applied for a credit card and was promptly approved. However, by the fifth day, I lost all access to the app, rendering me unable to use my debit card, check my balance, conduct eTransfers, or receive direct deposits from my employer.

Resolving these issues required multiple phone calls and branch visits. Despite numerous calls to customer service and being given various explanations, my credit card has still not been delivered. I have been repeatedly assured that it is on its way, but these assurances have not materialized.

Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Meridian and deeply regret choosing this credit union for my banking needs. If you're looking for a lesson in patience and frustration, Meridian is the perfect choice.

Poor service. Manager wouldn't even stand to speak to me. Sat hidden behind her desk. Mickey mouse club! Moving all my business to RBC. Disgusting.

14 months into the pandemic they have closed their cash processing services to save costs while pretending it is due to COVID. This doesn’t work for my essential farming business that needs to work Mon-Fri and bank on Saturday. Using a pandemic as an excuse to save staffing costs and cut services is unacceptable. At least be truthful about it. This is bank that is supposed to cater to small business and that means offering flexible services including weekends. Service at this branch has felt more and more corporate since moving to their new location. It is clear that after 10 years of banking with them that I will have to find another bank to deal with.

This financial institution is quickly becoming the worst. Closes at 5 most days now. No more friendly service. I used to walk out of there with a smile just like they had in their commercials. Not so anymore! Awful dealing with them.
