I sent them an email on June 2, 2025 to the email address posted on their “contact us” page. Now, almost 2 weeks later, nothing.

I also called them that same day, and as I was describing my situation, they said “you emailed us earlier”, so I know they saw it.

Even though their website says they do personal taxes, they were quick to tell me that they only take corporate clients.

When I explained that I actually do own a corporation and own multiple real estate properties, I was then forwarded to someone else, who then in turn forwarded me to someone else again, but I only reached that third person’s voicemail. I left a voicemail but they never got back to me.

I personally agree with the other 1-star review where the review said that communication and/or responsiveness seems to be an issue for them. Not sure how they accumulated so many positive reviews when apparently I’m not the only person encountering this issue.

McCay Duff has been great. As a US citizen living in Canada, my taxes are complex, especially that first year when we moved. But I started with a terrible accountant who partially filed returns with numerous substantial errors. I called McCay Duff in a panic a few weeks before taxes were due, and they were able to calm me down and walk me through undoing the mess from the first accountant.
