I have done business at this location for many years now…and normally I don’t go out of my way to put a business on blast but the lack of customer service is just ridiculous. I was sent my policy for renewal a few weeks ago and it had gone up over $600. I called in to speak to the home insurance broker on my file and after chatting with him, I felt pretty good about the outcome. We had found a way to lower my premiums. He was to send me new documents to sign so we could move forward with that. Fast forward a week and no email or contact from him. So, I call the office and the lovely receptionist is very helpful and takes down my contact info to have him touch base. Another week goes by…still nothing. I call in yet again…chasing business…and again I am greeted by a very kind receptionist…I explain to her that this is my third call and could she please let the broker know that I need to get this sorted or I’ll have to take my business elsewhere. Again I have not had my call returned. I’m sincerely perplexed. To note, I have not been rude or demanding in any way. I would not recommend this business for the simple lack of customer care and I am left now seeking a new place to get coverage.

I wasn't going to leave a review because the amount was nominal ($35) but it took customer service over a week to return my messages regarding a move/cancellation. They then submitted the cancel date as the time they responded not my original contact date. It shouldn't take over a week to return a message - that is just poor customer service. It cost me not only on the refund but my billable time. Businesses (including my own) need to be accountable for spending and provide better service or we will never correct the inefficiencies and curb the inflation.

Uncomfortably warm! Maxxam had left me messages about renewing my car insurance with them, so when it came time I headed their way. However, on an already warmish day outside, it was significantly warmer in their office. I mentioned it to the agent but he didn't acknowledge it. The service was adequate, but sitting there sweating I was wishing I'd gone to the Superstore!
Ought to think about making it more comfortable for you clients.
