I tried to pawn a couple things to this store. I have pawned things before with no problem. This time, instead of greeting us with kindness and welcoming us into their store. They accused me and my friends of being “sketchy” and were very vulgar in the way they spoke to us. The guy said “if you’re gonna try and con us, you’re gonna have to get a little smarter than that”. I have never met somebody with such ignorance. Plus the fact that they go and sell peoples stuff without them knowing. They made my cousin lose his Xbox. They’re racist, they’re disrespectful, quite frankly I don’t understand how such a sad store, with such sad employees are still in business in 2024. Absolutely and utterly appalling.

This place has an awesome selection accompanied by helpful and great workers. I’ve been there probably 5 times and staff has always been great, on that note Jesse has been incredibly helpful and awesome attitude, and goes above and beyond.

Came in Friday looking forward to a awesome experience and it was in fact quite the opposite. I wondered why there was so much merchandice and after looking around it was apparent that everything is WAYYYYY OVER PRICED, The staff had no knowlage of the items I am in search for. Staff is rude and cocky for looking like they all just got out of an asylum. Uncomfortable atmosphere. A bunch of used junk marked over retail. I would not recommend this place if you are traveling to Lethbridge for your shopping needs. Go to Buy and Sell in Calgary and skip the trouble of this nightmare. If I could pit NO stars out of 5 i would but 1 is the lowest.

Well first off all, when I first started dealing with "king of con's" I brought in a brand new still in the box top notch peavey practice guitar amp and a really nice Ltd thrash style guitar. Well first the guy has the gall to offer me 30 buck's for that brand new new amp and then proceeds to tell me he could only give me 30 dollers for the Ltd"because it wasn't a esp" they're the same company! And I know what that guitar was worth but I just moved in to a new place and needed some grub in the cupboards. So I said screw it give me the cash and I'll be here at the end of the month to pick up my stuff. So I go in at the end of the month and what's this? My stuff is already out on display being sold.
The amp that the guy gave me 30 buck's for, they were selling for 120.
And the cherry on top was the Ltd guitar I brought in, they were selling it for over 400 bucks! And of course there was no one to help me get my stuff back because"king of con's" only worry about number 1. And just last week I pay 5 dollars for a portable charger, it didn't work so I go to return it because they had another one there just like it. So I figured I could just swap it out. And get this, not only did i have the receipt, the guy that I bought the first charger off of the day before was the same guy serving me when I went to exchange chargers. And because I said something about he's the guy who sold me the original one in the first place, it should be no problem just to swap them out. But no, he makes up some shady exuse about my receipt not being readable(when if he had of took the time to unfold the thing, he would see it in fact was the receipt for the original charger.) and because he was to miserable to swap a 5 dollar charger out for the exact same one. I left there with a item that didn't work, and a very ignorant employee. So needless to say I will not be shopping there any more.
Edit: well since they got rid of all the old staff and got some decent people working there,the place is a whole lot better to go to now.
But there's a few of the employees I'd like to give a shout out to,who have gone above and beyond for me, Jessie, your the man dude.

What a joke. Took an engagement ring there with the paper work. The guy looked at the paper for for 30 seconds. Offered me $50. $50!! Took across the street to cash Canada pawn shop. They took there time. Looked at the ring. Stones. Tested and offered me a Grand. Dear king of trade. Your a joke!

The staff are pleasant, accommodating, informed, and very helpful. They take the time to education and answer any questions. Their product is backed with a guarantee I've never had a problem with staff or their products. The prices are fair. It's also Great they offer an optional generous credit on account when selling items. Very easy to do business with. If I could give them 10 stars I would!

Customer service really sucks there,sure you may be having a bad day! But this is not the first time being served by a rude employee! Its your job to work with the public! You dont like your job then move on! Been in that store 3 times and rude/poor service each time. Will be the last time in that store!
