Jenn and her team at Desjardins are absolutely fantastic! Recently had to file a claim and nothing but great things to say! The process was easy and fast! Jeff was friendly and incredibly helpful opening the claim for me over the phone, and claims department reached out to me within an hour to get more information and start the process of getting my car fixed. I didn’t have to call Desjardins once, everything was explained to me over the phone clearly when first opening the claim, they answered all questions I had. They did all the work and contacted me when needed, with myself never needing to call to ask “what’s next” or inquire when things would be getting done! They dealt with all and any issues promptly and had my car in the shop within days of opening my claim!

I’ve had 2 encounters, and my daughter with one with Jeff. When You’re trying to reach your agent in an emergency and they make you feel like you’re bothering them, it’s not funny. When you’re paying for a service, you expect a professional response. Jeff had no empathy, he was unapologetic and unaccountable for his response.” This is a small office” as Sheri told me. In a small town, it’s important that you DO know who your clients are . He claimed in a email to my daughter that he didn’t know whom I was . My name is pretty unique. Who wants to deal with an insurance company that doesn’t know its clients?

I was told by phone a certain price for changing coverages. It was confirmed. Than when I got rebate back it was not the same quoted. Sales person Jeff who quoted me said he would look into this mistake. The broker Jennifer refused to call me back once. Did not answer any questions I had. And would not respond thru email. I have had insurance thru TD for previous 15 years. 1 year with Jennifer’s office and I’m going back to TD. And absolutely disgusting company to deal with.

I use desjardins for my motorcycle insurance. After shopping around for the better part of a week I finally got connected with Jennifer who was absolutely fabulous to deal with, she explains everything to you and finds the best rates. I was only an m1 at the time we had first spoken and told her I was completing a fast track course to get my M2. She quickly got my rates for both of these classes to which I agreed and as soon as I got my m2 certificate my rate prices reflected instantaneously. I also receive sweet Christmas cards and birthday cards from this company. That’s such a nice thing to do for clients and it goes a long way. I have already referred friends and family to desjardins and I will continue to do so. Great company, great rates, great service.
