I had a flood, neighbor upstairs, with many people from AquaMist, disaster relief, running around I phoned emergency line. Kid gloves is how I was handled. Excellent. The representative at Intact Insurance (Heather Westling) and the Belfor Contractor (Heather Cross) were respectful of my wishes to have my home put back to its original condition. The cleaning was done to my satisfaction and the staff were very friendly. The painting done by Amber Cross was excellent. I am completely satisfied with the job everyone did to make my house and home again. Thank you!

Intact doesn’t sell ICBC Autoplan (mandatory auto insurance Crown corporation in BC) so I could not but my auto insurance there. But when I called, they were super helpful and directed me to other agencies in my area. Very nice olive and courteous on the phone.

Stay away from Intact. Cancel home insurance without cause and no communication. They hire restoration companies that just take your money and leave you fixing your own home. Don't explain why they won't cover you.
Can't give you a straight answer. Useless beyond contemp. Once we have this looked after by someone else, I will be making this public through our MLA and the media.

This company will do everything in its power to not help you out. Will even send their staff out to make up whatever they feel like telling you and try and scheme a way out of paying for anything.
