After almost 40 years, my term life insurance came to an end. It gave me piece of mind for many, many years. Thankfully, I did not ever use it. 🙂 Their rates were low and the coverage was good. But now at my age it is not worth having anymore. I called in and spoke with Helena Hu. The very first thing she said was she was sorry to lose my business and thanked me for my loyalty. She talked me through the simple cancellation process. She was very polite, friendly and helpful. I recommend IA as a first class insurance company. Thank-you for your great service Helena. Brian K

Not recommended. Upon asking what was covered (under work insurance), Ms. Anne Pattersen - an insurance specialist only emailed an Application Kit (which involves paying for a doctor's report), without further answers. After asking for more details, the advice was that there was coverage (and medical terms confirmed by GP). After going to the trouble of applying, paying for doctor's report and waiting, Ms. Patterson said it was "denied" because there was no coverage in the first place! (Not that it didn't meet requirements but stroke wasn't even covered despite her sending the application kit).

Send complaint form via the web garnered zero responses. Writing to their formal complaint officer passed their 90 day deadlines, required further effort to chase for refunding the doctor's report fees. Ms. Pattersen is still unable to find it in herself to apologize for the distress caused to a stroke survivor.

Adding on 7 August 2024: Nice to have a response but I left my review 2 years ago. I had to chase and chase your complaint officer/department for refunding doctor's report fees and requested an apology from Ms. Pattersen. Of course, she was only able to say you have a credit but still not able to apologize although that was a request. My stroke survivor partner suffered hours of calling your office while recovering a major stroke, wasted time seeing doctor's despite already being in such hardship. I hope IA can evaluate their staff and ethics - especially so-called specialists. Low-level human nature.

Forgot to write a review. Scammers they scammed me and wasted my time. Be careful when applying for supervisa insurance for family. Avoid them stay away scammers

This office has the worst service now! They reply on your claim after 1 month, they easily take your money but don't pity you upon making the claim!Not reccomending this product anymore..

Wouldn't suggest these people to my worst enemy. Got injured in Sept. Took them till November to send a cheque. And it got "lost" in the mail. So they send another set in December by courier and it hasnt reached the destination. Huge joke.

Located in the financial district. Great food. Took a while for us to get our meal, however really good once it arrived.
