I was very impressed with this motel. Spent a week here for work, and was pleasantly surprised. This was the cleanest small-town motel I have ever stayed at. It was also very quiet at night, and I slept super well. Family-owned and very nice. This is the best place to stay in Swan Hills for sure.

Our rooms were excellent and neat. Had a great cozy sleep last night. The staff gave us polite manner and bright smiles. Do not hesitate to pick Hillcrest for your comfort and healing stay.

* The owner provided Mini Violin Concert for the guests in the lobby last night. It was very touching and beautiful with raining atmosphere. Amazing!

I stayed 2nights and 3days with my 9 year old son. I did love the cozy lobby with fireplace and nice xmas decorations. I also enjoyed the capsule coffee whenever passes by the lobby and my son made his own toast. Room is very clean and equipped with little kitchen and bath tub in the toilet. It is very quiet room. And grocery store is just 2 mins by the car and there is Subway right in front of the hotel. I didn't try because it was closed during christmas holiday season but was told it opens at 6am. My son and I enjoyed the staying here so much and appreciated for the very friendly and helpful service during my stay. I definitely recommend this hotel to all my friends !!!

Honestly I should have written this review years ago but I completely forgot — the fact that I came back to write a bunch of compliments is a testament to how much I loved it there!

Stayed for work with a couple crews, spent about two months over the summer (you can see our trucks in one of the pictures 😄). Owners were so so so kind and accommodating, made sure we had everything we needed and put in personal touches to make sure we knew they really cared about our wellbeing (like a flower on my bed for an anniversary date and a cupcake with a candle on my partner’s birthday).

Rooms were spotless and well provisioned, the whole space was cozy and comfortable, and the family was extremely generous. Won I’m sorry it took me so long to write this but I hope you know Conrad and I still talk about how much we appreciated everything you and Sophie did for us! We will definitely come back for a holiday sometime 🙂

Rooms DID NOT look like photos. Bathrooms old, mattresses were really uncomfortable. It was a 2 1/2 star but gentleman at front desk was a very nice man. Photos looked like a totally different hotel.

CLEAN AND COZY, best motel in Swan Hills.
After reading some pretty horrifying reviews for other motels Swan Hills I booked my stay at the Hillcrest, and packed my own sheets just in case. They were totally unneeded! This place is very clean and fresh. And the owners are absolutely lovely! Subway next door opens quite early so you can get breakfast there.

Had a very clean and comfortable stay for a business trip. This motel is very nicely decorated and their great service makes you feel right at home! Very easy to find as it's located right on the highway. Will definitely be rebooking next time as their prices are very competitive!

Clean, comfortable and hospitable. Value priced. Wonderful, friendly hosts. I've been staying there for years and it gets better every time. Love the Hillcrest in Swan Hills. Excellent place to snowmobile right from the front door.
