I took a loan awhile ago.They reported to transunion any updates on 1st of each month.Last month on 18th I paid off the loan and until now 08 10 they didn't reported the loan as paid off. I filled a claim using Credit Karma that come back 2 days ago as "dispute resolved " but I still don't see any changes.

Quick and easy to apply money hits your bank quick on approval. Better rates than others and no origination fee on my loan. Two major complaints that I almost gave it 2 stars is the amount of time they take to report to credit bureau its been almost three months since they have updated my balance and i paid it off last month so we will see how long it takes to be reported paid in full. The second is they wipe the record of your loan from their website so i can’t see any payment history or that I even had a loan with them. Edit: they are able to get a pay off letter to me but in the end I had a great experience with them.

Absolutely don't use!! I got a loan, paid on time, never missed a payment. I paid my loan off early and they posted on my credit after that that I missed a payment when I didn't. I called customer service which was horrible and they basically said we will look Into it in 30-90 days.so messed up my credit for no reason!! Highly don't recommend!

I changed bank accounts and had a big unexpected expense in the same month and somehow managed to overlook my regular payment. Getting the funds together would have been an incredible struggle (my idiocy entirely) band when I reached out to discuss they were so friendly and helpful. I was able to skip the month and extend the loan by a month. All with no fuss. Wow! Highly recommend.

Received a late payment text on my last payment of my loan even though I have had autodraft enabled on my account.

Apparently when I first received the loan (2 years ago!), my original payment date was the 1st and I changed that to the 16th for all future payments, so the final payment was due on the 1st this month.

I received no notifications whatsoever beyond the late payment text and the payment did not autodraft as it should have.

First and foremost, this is not for everybody. This company requires pretty good credit to begin with. Even then, it still may not be the way to go. For the convenience of one payment with a lower interest rate, you still pay quite a bit in fees. I decided to go with it, and got a loan with them to pay down credit cards. I have four months left of a 24 month loan, with a pretty hefty monthly payment. It has been a huge success for me, since I have maintained credit card usage below 1%. Again, it requires a lot of work to do this, so make sure you have a good plan in place, even if you are a super prime borrower. If so, this is a fantastic option.

The application process was really easy and every person I dealt with was super friendly and helpful. This has been an extremely positive experience from beginning to end. There was a really quick turnaround time as well. The funds were deposited into my account less than a week after applying. I cannot say enough good things about Payoff and the people that helped me secure this loan.

Zero stars if I was able. Very little transparency about how they apply payments to the principle balance and accrue interest. Despite making extra payments each month to pay down the loan early, I will still end up paying half my initial loan amount in just interest. So despite being promised a 20% interest and APR it will work out closer to 50% by their warped and hidden calculations. Do not take out a loan from this shady company!!!!
