I have used Geospark as our drilling and/or surface geochemical sampling database at several companies and projects now (Colorado Resources KSP Project (now Skeena Resources), GT Gold's Tatogga Project (now owned by Newmont) and several others).

Geospark is easy to use, intuitive & adaptable. Customer support is excellent, with Will making requested changes to the database structure usually the same day or overnight.

The built-in data validation helps ensure good quality data from the moment of data entry.

The QAQC functions are very useful for monitoring and reporting analytical results.

The cost is extremely low compared to other options (Maxwel, MX Deposit, etc.)

Geospark and Will's ability to customize the program (new columns, tables, formula) to suit the exploration project was a game changer for work at GT Gold's Saddle South and Saddle North. Will being available to change the structure of logging tables allowed the geo-team to gather and organize more targeted information relevant to the projects as well as integrate in new and advancing data acquisition methods. Geospark represented a nice balance between the flexibility of an Excel-based logging program and the reliability and rigidity of other logging software.

Geospark is a great introductory geology database to get your exploration house in order. Getting your geological data into a database in the early stages of a project is essential for QAQC, data integrity and discipline. Geospark does this in an easy to use efficient manner; running on top of MS Access, it shines for its ease of use for the average geologist. No database specialist required. When a project moves to a mine, the database can be easily ported across without the headaches typical of moving to a new database system with miles of legacy data.
