We contacted Gem Cabinets on the advice of our daughter. Our daughter used Gem cabinets when building their new home. Our journey took a little longer than expected, however, working with Danielle insured that the finished product was functional and met and surpassed our expectations. From design and delivery to installation and follow-up, Gem cabinets service was outstanding with required attention to detail. We highly recommend GEM Cabinets.

I do not like doing these types of reviews but if this will help anyone avoid challenges it will be worth it. I would think twice about using GEM for anything. Something so simple became an UNNECESSARY issue. I moved into a new home with gem cabinets .... one of the cupboard doors had a issue with the corners wearing and peeling and one of the drawers was sticking so they adjusted once at the first warranty check in and it still would not close properly... at the one year they adjusted again and with that adjustment the drawer began rubbing in the underside of the cupboard which damaged the handle. When the installer came to fix the cupboard door adjusted the drawer as well and also noted he would request a new handle .... no big deal, right? Until you try and work with "Perkey" who then refused to replace the drawer handle and was EXTREMELY unprofessional and rude. I had to go through the home builder to push for it which should not have happened in the first place as the damaged occurred due to the installer adjustment! Then they finally ordered the drawer handle and dumped it on my doorstep and refused to install ... which I find interesting that you will let someone drive all the way here to deliver and not install. Spoke to the lovely "Perkey" again who, once again, played dumb and was rude and unprofessional! Not sure why such a small task became the hill it did - TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE in my opinion and I will ensure people steer clear to avoid similar challenges. Not a way to run a business in my view.

I live in a condo in St Albert
We had a flood last year.
Gem Cabinets came to re-do kitchen
They should be ashamed of the disgusting job they did.
The cabinets were so far off they put 4 inch blocks under the stove to make it be high enough for the counters.
The tops were so crooked that they were off by 3 1/2 inches.
Disgusting job. I will Never higher again
When we asked them to come fix. They refused.
Do not get Gem they are not good. !!!!!

We recently did a complete renovation of our house including replacing our kitchen cabinets, family room wall unit as well as all our bathroom cabinets. We dealt with Danielle Pasaluko. She was a pleasure to deal with. We knew we were in great hands with Danielle. She was very professional, knowledgeable and responded quickly to our many questions. This was not a standard kitchen renovation as the cabinets had to be installed on a large curved wall. Although this project was somewhat complex we did not have one issue with the cabinets and even though the kitchen cabinets were installed on a curved wall everything fit perfect and installation went flawless. I cannot say enough good things about Danielle Pasaluko and Gem Caninets. I would most definitely recommend using Danielle Pasaluko for any cabinet needs you may have.

We had a wonderful experience from start to finish. The staff were all professional and very patient with our slow decision making. Angie was amazing to work with as well as every staff member along the way. We love our new kitchen and would highly recommend Gem to anyone looking for a new kitchen.

Went to pick out supplies for a new vanity, waited for quite awhile before we were helped. After all was said and done it's been almost a month and we are still waiting for a quote... when you walk into a place of business and get ignored you take your business elsewhere. I was excited about the design, im disappointed it was all a waste of time. I'm glad we went elsewhere, you don't flat out ignore customers especially when they try and follow-up with you as well.

We had a great experience with Gem Cabinets. We worked with Danielle throughout the design process; she was friendly, helpful and available when we needed to discuss changes, options, etc. We were able to customize some more expensive finishes/accessories and balance that out in areas where we could cut back. The timeline was long but not unexpected in any way. It allowed us to catch up on the pieces we needed to have ready before the cabinets arrived. The delivery was straight forward, the installer came (solo) and finished in one day (worked very hard for a long day!) and the follow up process to correct deficiencies was reasonable. A few minor hiccups, but nothing that left us disappointed or that was left unresolved. We also ordered our countertops through Gem (Damato Granite) as it was easy to schedule and the price was right. We are thrilled with the end result!
