I've had my taxes done here for the past few years after switching from H&R Block. I found that going with Gardhouse was way easier (I was able to submit a lot of the stuff via email) and my return was way better than before - not sure if it was magic or if they found things that HR Block missed. I was able to speak with an employee named Sean who took the time to explain the whole RRSP vs TFSA deal (I'm a complete noob at this stuff) and hooked me up with a solid investment plan. I would definitely recommend anyone to go to this locally owned family business!!

I am extremely pleased with Sean and the staff at gardhouse. They were phenomenal with my taxes and were always there when I had issues with Revenue Canada and solved my issue diligently.
I also took my investments to them and again very pleased. Thank you for your personnel touch.

Able to do tax preparation, however customer service lacks, went to sign and pick up tax papers, concentrated on what I owe, neglected to mention what my wife's return was, just that I owe money. When arriving home, going through the paperwork, I discovered that the wife was receiving a refund. Time should be given to brief the complete tax return, not only on one.
Perhaps it should be looked at that when personal pick up their tax paperwork, a complete review be conducted.
Fees for tax preparation is on the high side.
After being a loyal customer of 15 years, might be time to find another agency.

Do not, repeat do not hire this company - more specifically Sean Guardhouse. He is completely unprofessional. We’ve been waiting months for him to provide status of taxes and a clearance certificate to bring closure to my father’s estate. He does not return phone calls. Still waiting ...

Needs work on customer service big time . was yelled at and interupted when there was confusion about info that was needed i was trying to ask how to get the info they needed i was told to "find it" and hung up on as well when i went to pick up my taxes i said there are courses online fir customer service and she shut the door in face while i was standing there with a stroller, and said whatever .
