If you are considering investing with ETF Capital Management, read carefully. Like any other peddler of mutual funds, ETF Capital Management only has their interest in mind. While they promise a low management fee, you’ll notice that they are buying and selling within your portfolio way more frequently than is necessary. Not only this, but the ETF’s they are recommending from BMO, like any other active fund, underperforms. ETF Capital Management is also surely receiving financial compensation from promoting these trashy BMO ETF funds.

I was a client for many years and they continued to underperform the market, although your exposure to risk was just the same.

Do yourself a favour and stay clear of this firm. Invest in a low-cost index fund yourself and save yourself the headache.
