The most useless branch in the city. Second time I walk in with a question (example: to get wiring instructions for an account, how difficult can that be?) and second time I am told they cannot help me. No wonder they are just sitting and watching something on their laptop instead of working.
UPDATE: Excellent excuse. My question had nothing to do with teller services. It was one of the most basic questions one can ask any bank employee. In fact, the person was getting ready to answer my question, but the second he found out I wasn't a client, the representative said he couldn't help. As if putting letters on a piece of paper takes being a client. Stop being lazy.

I had an incredibly disappointing experience with Desjardins, which I now consider the worst bank in Canada—particularly in their Mortgage department. In 2022, I refinanced my mortgage through a broker, with an approved interest rate of P-0.85% as stated in the official application. However, when the mortgage was finalized, Desjardins offered me a rate of P-0.8%, rather than the agreed-upon P-0.85%.

Despite the broker sending them a screenshot of the approved application as evidence, Desjardins refused to honor the original rate, claiming that they could not find any record of the P-0.85% interest rate in their system. It was clear to me that they were trying to avoid fulfilling their commitment, and their response felt like an outright refusal to treat me fairly.

This experience has left me feeling deceived and bullied by a financial institution that seems more interested in taking advantage of small customers than maintaining trust and transparency.
