5 years worth of history down the drain. I regret recommending them to others and will now make a point to tell everyone to go elsewhere. My account and service change was grossly mishandled and was fed corporate bullshit jargon as an explanation. Don't bother being human or having real difficult situations to deal with because they will not be accommodating and will not provide any real customer service except repeating what they read of their policy sheet.

I was in the process of bringing on a new client to them for both auto and home and told that person to go elsewhere that if they want to be treated fairly that this is NOT the place.

Be warned, if you try to leave they will charge you 3 times your monthly premium as a cancellation fee.

Real conversation "I'm now a single mother with a reduced family income and I've received a more affordable rate with a company discount"... "Bye... here's an over $300 cancellation bill"

No offer to look at the monthly premium to accommodate my new family income, no discussion whatsoever. Just a fat bill that will put my account in the red.

Thank you Derri Smith Insurance for being a TERRIBLE inconsiderate unaccommodating cheating insurance company.

Zero stars for the Zero help they provided.

pretty horrible experience with these folks. Pretty sloppy email correspondence, one really incompetent oversight that led to a withdrawal $200 over what I was quoted, zero % accomodation or apology from the company after that, belittling and condescending on the phone... I paid to cancel with this insurance provider. They came highly recommended but my experience was quite negative. I'd leave zero stars if it were an option. I'd suggest looking to the Cooperators instead.

I have been with this insurance company for many years and have not had any issues. They have been helpful and supportive. When I needed to access insurance needs they were quick to respond and processed my claim quickly.
