Despite being driven less than 2,000 km over the past couple of years, my truck began experiencing rough idling, engine shaking, misfires, and fuel related issues. I brought it in multiple times, spent over $6,800 on repairs, diagnostics, and part replacements, only to now be told the engine needs to be replaced at a cost of nearly $20,000. The same day they “performed a recall” and said it was “tested, drives good” the trucks engine blew 30 minutes later and refused to pay the tow.

I reached out to Ford Canada, and they informed me that this dealership has full discretion to request a goodwill repair or escalate the matter further. Yet I was told there’s nothing they can do. No ownership of the situation. No meaningful support. Just a shrug and a bill.

I’ve followed every step, reported problems early, and tried to resolve things respectfully. But it feels like the second something major goes wrong, both the dealer and Ford pass the blame, and I’m left stuck with a major financial burden.

Unfortunately, Denham Ford showed no interest in helping a loyal customer out of a bad situation.

If you’re looking for a dealership that stands behind its customers, not just during the sale but when issues arise (which they most likely will considering it’s a Ford) I’d recommend looking elsewhere.

I didn’t want to post this publicly, but I believe in transparency. If you’re considering long term service or repairs here, be cautious. Loyalty and maintenance history don’t seem to matter when things go sideways.

I had an unusual experience. My Ford Escape 2018 had suddenly and unexpectedly overheated. I was quite worried and I contacted Sarah and Keeley at Denham Ford.

They reassured me that my car was under warranty and I could schedule the repair at Denham Ford or in Edmonton since I live in Edmonton.

I chose to have the service attended to in Edmonton.

There were a host of communication problems with myself and the Edmonton Ford dealership.

After a lot of misunderstanding and frustration I contacted Sarah and Keely and explained the situation.

Both Sarah and Keely went above and beyond to help me find out what was being done with my car at the Edmonton location.

Now everything is fixed and the experience was much better because of Sarah and Keely.

Communication matters and next time I’ll just take the extra long drive and take my car to Denham to get repaired.

Thank you Sarah and Keely for all of your help.

I have a very big appreciation for the staff here for accommodating me so well in an air bag recall, they were very kind and rescheduled for me several times. They had it done in a few short hours. Beautiful people working there!

After purchasing a truck from another dealership that needed work right away. I took it here. Not only were they quick to find the problem and fix it. They were very friendly and not pushy about anything. Highly recommend dealing with these guys.

Overall terrible experience. Had confidence coming in that needs would be met and services provided at a competitive rate. Unfortunately, the quality of the service and the way my vehicle was treated over the extended time they needed to do the work was subpar at best, and worse than that it was incredibly overpriced. Was quoted from another shop at nearly half of what I was taken for here and I pray nobody else experiences this. Looking into further action but I would heavily advise against this dealership.

Hi all,
Sad thing when someone has to report on the dealerships taking advantage of people. There are lots of people that aren't "car" people and take vehicles to the dealership and entrust them to make sounds judgement on required repairs only to be taken advantage of! Denham rips people off! Don't get caught in the trap!

Preying on the elderly.

Not happy with the service dept.
My dads 76 year old wife went in for an oil change, and to change the winter tires that Denham themselves change yearly.

New lug nuts and a new battery when the vehicle only has 29000km on it, and is only a few years old.

They charged the card three times on three separate occasions, within one week.
The vehicle started and worked fine,
They saw a little old lady who can barely walk and decided to take advantage of her.

What a joke.
Preying on the vulnerable.

Scammers, and to think my dad liked going here.
If he wasn't in the hospital he would have told the service dept, where to go with their stunt.

Shame on this place for preying on the elderly.
What is next for Denham Ford service?
Charging to change out summer air for winter air in tires? Or maybe reversing the battery cables so the a/c blows warm instead of cold.

Fantastic experience at Denham! Koji kept me informed the whole way through my order and Avril was thorough and efficient with the financing. No shady dealer tactics either and full transparency. Highly recommended if you want a straight forward buying experience!
