I Locked my daughters keys in her car at the tire shop. I called Dodge and they made me a door key to get back in (with ID ofcourse!) And had it ready in 5 minutes! Thank you for this fantastic service and your generosity!

Where to begin.. let’s say if we didn’t HAVE to use cranbrook dodge we wouldn’t. From the minute we bought the new truck (may 2025) to now it’s been nothing but problem after problem. First, we all know how sales people are, but we give them a budget and they immediately show us a truck that is triple that much… why? Likely because now everything after will be a disappointment and we’ll want to spend more money. Then, with the extras we negotiated in the contract we required the service centre and that’s a pain too. There’s always a reason the job can’t be finished and need to come back. The full tank of gas we were promised still hasn’t come, they gave us the truck on an empty tank. Now, a brand new vehicle, just has issue after issue. Next time, I’ll go to literally any other dealership.

We had a roadside emergency just outside Cranbrook, BC, right near the summit of a steep hill with a straight drop and heavy semi-truck traffic. No warning—our vehicle just died. It was one of the most nerve-wracking moments we’ve had on the road.

We called Cranbrook Dodge, and Jay answered. He immediately calmed us down, walked us through troubleshooting, and stayed on the line until we were safely over the summit and off the road. His support was steady, kind, and incredibly helpful. Jay, you went above and beyond.

I went to Dodge for a pre roadtrip check and was given a $9000 list of recommended repairs. I got a second opinion, and will NEVER go to the Dodge dealership again. Customers beware.

Charged me 230$ to tell me what I already knew was wrong with it (plus one part I didn't know was broken.) they had it for an hour and I already had the door apart so they didn't have to do any labor taking anything off. $230 to look at it. Bullshit rip off, do not use them.

We bought a 2014 Ram 1500 V6 at Cranbrook Dodge. All the servicing gets done here and is regularly maintained. It's now 2020 and I have had little to no issues with this vehicle. The staff are professional and welcoming. Happy customer. 😊

Update: June 1, 2025

Just received a letter in the mail from FCA Canada stating that they are extending the warranty on the Passenger Sliding Door Power Lock Acutuator for my 2017 Dodge Grand Caravan. Despite Cranbrook Dodge claiming they were unaware of this issue, it is clear that they knew this was a problem and I am disappointed that they would not at least acknowledge this important safety concern that could put the passengers in the rear at risk in case of a locked door (completely inoperable) in an accident. Hopefully FCA Canada will honour its commitment to compensate owners for this problem.

The service department quoted me $2002 dollars to fix a well known issue on the sliding door actuator on the drivers side sliding door on my 2017 Dodge Grand Caravan (90,000km). Went to a reputable mechanic who fixed it using a genuine part for under $500. Apparently they charge $180 to diagnose the problem which the service department was not upfront about when I booked the appointment. When asked if they believe this issue is safety concern as the door completely locks and has no manual override, they didn’t see it as a safety concern. There is a recall for certain years and models, even though all are using the same locking actuator. The service manager seemed interested to help and said he would follow up with his “Rep” regarding my safety concerns. He did not follow up as promised. I own a Dodge Caravan and Cherokee Trailhawk. Will definitely look at another manufacturer when I purchase new. Completely dissatisfied and this is the first negative review I have left. Just goes to show how disappointing this process has been.
