Terrible company. You can never get into the agent's office. I arrived today at 4:20 p.m. Although the door says Walk In hours 16:30, they refused to admit me. They said that I came late and the workers already want to go home. But I needed to register a car for the weekend. That is, employees worry about their weekends, and I have to be left without a car I am seriously considering switching companies even though I already have home insurance. Other companies work much longer, and it is possible to get an appointment with them.

Terrible service at the establishment!
Upon arrival, they took my information (I saw they accepted walk-ins).
They told me to sit and wait for someone to attend to me. Later, I asked for restroom access for my 5-year-old daughter, and they said they didn’t have one and that I should go to the one across the parking lot inside a supermarket. So I did. When I returned, they invited me to wait, and then they told me no one could assist me because everyone was busy and they had a meeting.
I believe they should have informed me of this from the beginning instead of making me wait.

Do not support this company, they do not pay there bills on time to hardworking Autobody shops. We had a claim completed on or about October 21, 2023. After several calls for payment to cooperators and the adjuster we received an email stating that payment was sent on November 1,2023.
Today is November 16, 2023 we called Cooperators & they told us the check would be issued on Dec1, 2023. WOW…. It will be almost 3 month before we get our payment, all work completed, parts paid for by shop & Cooperators Customer is happy! Yet NO PAYMENT from a wealth company “COOPERATORS! Make sure your not 1 day late with your payment to Cooperators or you can’t drive without insurance cause they cancel you. But yet they don’t pay there bills on time for real work completed to make there company look good. This insurance company does not deserve to be in business, if you can’t pay your bills don’t run your company. People BOYCOTT this shameful business practice from a million dollar company (Co Operators).

Horrible communication skills. Was given a great quote for my new car while having another car on the policy, just for my price to go up once I sold the other car. Asked them why and their excuse was the quote I was given as if I was going to have multiple cars on the policy. Only problem is the broker I was speaking with clearly knew I had plans to sell the other car plus never communicated to me that the quote was not for a one car policy. Did she do it to make sure I would stay with them and not try to go with a different company? I'm not sure, but save yourself some and money and go somewhere where brokers can communicate about their policy to their clients accurately.

I've had my business insured with Co-operators over 4 years. They don't return emails so you will have to repeatedly email/call to get any questions answered. Their lateness will cause your insurance to lapse. You won't be guaranteed a pleasant phone experience as some of their representatives can be quite bitchy. I'm seeking out another insurance agency and I recommend you do the same.

Office staff claim to be trained but when you ask a question they put you on hold for 10 mins and don't have a real answer for you. Also they treat you like a number once you sign with them and if you're not happy they charge a really high fee to cancel (they claim it's not them but company policy). Will be changing once my renewal comes up.

Very Professional, and knowledgeable. I have my home/auto/and life insurance with them and have never had an issue. Also highly involved with the community specially our local sports teams here in Calgary. I would Highly recommend to anyone.

Brief experience, but not helpful. I simply needed to drop a form off at any agency, but chose to call first. The lady was disinterested, rude, and dismissive. I guess there was no money to be made, and no willingness to hold up the quality of the brand. Very disappointing and my first bad experience in 15 years with The Cooperators. Lunch time August 20, 2019 around 12:08 pm
