Went with Co-operators last November for snowmobile insurance. Was informed at the time for a small fee; up to one month of insurance payment, we could cancel early when winter ends. Verified this information at the end of March when we went to cancel our policy. The agent said it would only cost up to one month of the insurance payment on the next payment date. They ended up taking 5 months of payments as a penalty. So we basically paid for the year anyways with coverage for only 4 months. Upon calling them and asking them to pull up the transcript, I was told that they weren't sure why we were told that but I could get $4 back of the $197 they took. That was even more insulting. Do not use this company for any type of insurance.
