I’ve been a longtime customer with Co-Operators Ins. I can’t say enough good things about them. Knowing they have your back is THE most important aspect of an insurance company. I’ve had issues with others in the past, but after several claims, and ZERO issues, I’d never consider changing. To the reader, please consider this when shopping around. Are you looking for the lowest price or someone that will provide you a hassle-free experience and claim when you likely need it the most? Looking for the latter, then at very least you own it to yourself to check out their rates and then consider the weight of the above review before making a final choice. To you Co-operators, I’m glad you’re provided exceptional service and support when I required it the most.

Horrible experience dealing with them with insurance claims. No proper communication, no followup and most importantly these agents LIE a lot!!!! I struggled for 2.5 months dealing with them for my insurance claims and it was a nightmare. Would never recommend this experience for anyone.

Edit: I emailed the email they have provided in the response and no one got back to me its been weeks!!! And this is exactly the issue with this company no communication no customer service just a bunch of liers!!!!

Insurance not good for students.
They will leave on your own expenses.
They ask for proof to keep policy active while claiming and ultimately reject policy stating some foolish reason.
My suggestion is to look for competitors insurance like Desjardins instead because they have good reputation.
