I had to go through 2 insurance brokers for my business before I found Andrea with Collis Insurance. The first broker was a large company - they would take days to respond to inquiries and requests, had a high-turnover rate for agents and felt our account would fall through the cracks whenever the agent assigned to us would quit.

The second broker was very disorganized to the point where I was questioning whether or not I was insured properly and if they were even a legitimate company. It turned out that even after switching over to Andrea, they had withdrawn money from my account for an entire years worth of insurance that didn't exist. Andrea had supported me by speaking on my behalf after they denied taking money and helped me get my money back.

After having negative experiences with the first two I was very diligent about interviewing several brokers before making a decision. After meeting with Andrea there was no question that she was the best candidate - highly experienced, thorough, responsive and more importantly advocates her support to clients if it ever comes to making claims.

She continues to impress me when dealing with my contractors' brokers, how inexperienced and inattentive they are in comparison and is quick to find their errors. In my industry it is critical to be properly insured due to the potential liability involved. I feel she's really taken care of me and my best interests at heart. I cannot say enough good things about her and her team and would highly recommend her.

The experience I had at Collis was excellent. I have been in business for over 10 years, and have always maintained Liability Insurance for my business. My previous broker communicated once a year, with a renewal letter. The policy itself was never explained to me, nor did I really understand it.
