I am not upset, after 25 years banking withCC I always though it was a “Micky mouse” operation, I must say still is! Lost my debit card, presented myself at the branch for 3 days in the roll, they could not issue me a new debit card. Computer glitch. How safe is your money in this bank!! Finally had to wait for the snail Mail to get my card.

The staff in this branch seem to fail on at least one request each time I visit with multiple concerns, resulting in repeat visits which is hard on me due to my health.
The phone banking makes the in person issues even worse, with glaring errors/pointless looping delays in the menus, staff forgetting you're on hold for over 10 minutes, etc.
The unreliable service leaves me feeling forced to maintain extra accounts with other institutions so I can make bill payments.
I'm also a little biased due to hearing that CC decided to focus on charging extra fees for overdraft transactions, effectively targeting members with the least wealth to spare?
When I'm not locked out of the app/website they at least work pretty well. Small kudos there.

I should have done more research into this completely useless credit union. I can't believe they are so incompetent and blatantly indifferent to customers. The only reason I opened an account with them at all, was simply because they are closer than my main credit union. I just wanted access to cash for minor things, such as change for the lockers at the recreation centre. In this small town, which is on an island, I have quite often found that financial institutions tend to be rather petty when it comes to breaking down large bills, if you don't have an account with them. I'm not sure how it happened but, two weeks after I opened my account, I misplaced my debit card. It then took - 3 DAYS!- before I could finally get through on the phone to speak to someone! I was then assured they would send me a new debit card and I should have it "within 10 days". It only takes mail - one day - to get from the Mainland to this island, but I was going to have to wait 10 days because..?! After waiting for - 3 WEEKS!- I went to the nearest branch and asked - them - why I had not yet received my new card?! I was told that it had - definitely - been mailed out and they had no idea why I hadn't received it. I waited - one more week!- and called again! Again I was told I the new card had been mailed out so I "should gave received it". I didn't! It has now been 43 days and I still do not have access to my account and no one from Coast Capital has - bothered! - to check to see if I received it, or not! I guess new customers are just not that important to them. I'm surprised they have even rated 3 stars! Astoundingly incompetent!

Can't use the ATM vestibule at this location, it seems to be always locked except during business hours. Sign on the door says the vestibule is closed from 10pm-6pm (why?) But it's actually just closed all time. Sooooo inconvenient. I've switched most of my banking to another institution in my neighborhood. Plus, I agree with the other comments that it is extremely hard to get through to Coast Capital on the phone and long wait times for appointments.

I’ve banked at Coast Capital for over 40 years and have been very happy with the services. There are fewer user fees than are charged by the big banks. Staff is always friendly.

Great Place! Opened an account here today for the free unlimited transactions, found the service to be outstanding, the "money pro" (Bryce) who helped me was informative, helpful, personable and took the time to answer all of my questions. Felt like i was banking in a relaxed yet professional place which was much nicer than any big nation wide banks I have ever used.

Good location. Bank machines are near the doors, with free parking out front. Convenient that clients from other Credit Unions can use Coast Capital bank machines for free.
