Worst experience ever! Being new to thier bank is expected alot but the customer service was horrible by phone
Setting up my first etransfer I accidently put my recipient email in my spot and then again in thier spot, easy fix right either send the transfer or give it back , after being on the phone with them they first said they could send it as it would be quicker then after being on hold I find out they are instead canceling it and it's gonna take days to get back. This money was for my dad who is on disability and was his way of living for the next month and over 1000 dollars. I don't care what ur policy is this should've been a quick deposit in his account or back into mine and as soon as I get my.money back I will.most likely cancel my banking there and it's not like I don't make money. I get my loans threw my banks, credit cards and everything. But not this plc, the lady was rude and inconsiderate and ill never deal.with them again once I get thus money back

The bank has shown no sympathy or understanding after we were victims of fraud and theft. Despite 20 years of banking from my wife and 15 from me, Coast Capital Savings clearly values profits over people. Nothing but victim blaming.

Going to close my brand new account. Review rating is no reflection of this individual branch but your main Surrey branch procedure of phoning randomly from a toll free #, in the heat of mid day, to interrogate me about personal private banking information regarding transaction and to sell other services. I didn't sign up for harassment.

Incompetent business.
Randomly bounce payments 3 days after they have cleared! Never had a problem not getting funds from atm even though it come out of account but no cash given. 9 times always on a weekend. Most of the call center people have the attitude your interrupting them and don't let you get a word in and talk down to you like your an idiot. There supposedly "free" account is a scam. IF you want to throw your money away and have no life so you can spend every second day trying to get there screw-ups fixed and pay them for there mistakes then this is a perfect bank for you! STAY CLEAR OF THIS "supposed bank" its a joke! Unfortunately I had to give them 1 undeserved star to post!

Very kind and helpful customer service. Andrea has helped me with 2 separate issues I've had with my banking and I'm very grateful for her patience and kindness. I will continue to use Coast Capital.

Terrible mobile app. Customer service is hopeless. Can't log in to sign up. Did I say hopeless? Time to take my business elsewhere. Total frustration. Their star rating should be much closer to 5 , but they are slipping closer and closer to zero and I can understand why. Another thing, I went to a branch office to move some money, not a lot, but substantial, and they made me feel like a crook. Hopeless.........

I recently pulled an entire investment portfolio from Coast Capital Savings in Duncan overseen by an investment advisor on staff. I will be moving more funds out of others accounts as well. My son reached out to management including the regional manager and the CEO of Coast Capital Savings in November 2022 and there has been no follow up.

The "upgrades" Coast Capital is making is a disaster!. Nothing but problems hours at the branch and still can't access my account. After being a member for 25 years, I'll be closing my accounts and going to a more user friendly bank. DO NOT open an account with Coast Capital
