We had stayed here in 2022 a few nights and it was great so we came back for 3 nights this year because it’s convenient to visit our friends in Lethbridge and to do some shopping.
Pros - nicely kept sites close to a big field, sani dump, convenience to Lethbridge, $25 dry camping (better that the $39 dry camp in Red Deer) It’s a convenient stop for an overnight while traveling.
Cons - near highway 3 so typical road noise, train shunting at night can be noisy (some nights nothing, some lasts several hours), despite a 7 day max stay some folks are being allowed to long term stay which given the housing crisis I don’t object to, but having a noisy generator running at 4:30 am with a motorcycle group of tenters on site when quiet hours are til 7:00 am I find rude. There is no host on site.

Looks nice buuuuuuut we arrived and immediately (the locals) neighbours dogs ran over to our site trying to get at our dog jumping on our vehicle I screamed the guy came over apologized he was drunk and there was dog crap everywhere from his two large free range dogs. Too bad it seems small towns build these nice places and then no one wants to run them properly. Other than that it would be great.

A very nice little campground. Beside a railroad but doesn't seem to be a bother. Self check in for $25/night. Washrooms are clean, showers are free and warm. Grounds are very well kept. Has garbage disposal, recycling bin, group shelter, soccer field and Frisbee golf course. Very quiet, no traffic noise.

Lovely spot in quiet, small town but busy train tracks nearby. Large sports field adjacent to campground. Very close by to Lethbridge city - 5 minutes by car.

My daughter recently had a soccer tournament at Coalhurst Miners Memorial campground and it was overall positive. The location was easy to find with ample room to sit. The down side was the fields were not level so whomever's team was on the right side of the field had an advantage. Also, the parking was horrendous. It was a struggle to find a parking spot for our vehicle, and it caused appear to cause frustration for residents that lived on the road. However, apart from these issues, I must say that the campground had extremely well-maintained grounds and amenities. Overall, despite the uneven fields and parking challenges, our experience at Coalhurst Miners Memorial Campground was enjoyable and I would recommend it.
