Absolutely criminal. I applied 1 time for card, the store (home depot) said an error occurred on their end, so they changed one thing on application and tried again, just clicking random things to try to make it work. They said it was there computer error, and to try again in month. So I tried again 1 month later and was approved(I have 800 credit score), then when I looked at my credit checks it shows citi financial did 3 hard credit checks, absolutely ridiculous. DO NOT USE this card

I opened a City Credit Card excited about the $100 rebate on a $1,000 purchase. Unfortunately, my experience has been incredibly frustrating. When I went to redeem the rebate in-store, the customer service representative insisted I needed a mail-in coupon from City Credit Card that I never received. This requirement made no sense based on the promotion's terms.

I feel misled and disappointed. It’s unacceptable to have such a lack of communication regarding promotions. I was really looking forward to this offer, but now I feel cheated. I’ll be canceling my card immediately and would advise others to think twice before signing up. Save yourself the hassle!

This credit card company is the worst in the market. They did not even know How to issue credit cards. I thought the 12 months interest-free would help for my composite deck. But, I ended up calling their customer care, going back and forth to Home Depot and waiting for the letter.
Again, my score is 800 plus. It's a waste of time.
I highly recommend not applying and wasting your time and effort.

I applied for home depot credit card, my credit score was above 800 and it dropped by 37 points! They didn’t even give me the credit card! Now this stays on my records for 6 years!! Shouldn’t they tell you about this in the first place? They only told me it’s a soft credit check, but it’s actually a hard credit check that they do! And it has a huge impact on you score! The impact is actually greater than my mortgage!!

Be aware…If I had it to do over I wouldn’t apply for Home Depot financing… I shouldn’t have obtained this financing when I purchased appliances. They did 2 inquiries on my credit report and brought my score down unnecessarily!!! And the records stay for 6 years. I’m very annoyed!

As a professional company I expect my employees to be professional and prepared to client outcomes. Citi cards has failed to hire professionals to do the job and value client. In my case I have applied for home depot commercial card, they called me to say there's not enough info. About Your company even though I could see they did the credit check on equifax report with a good credit score. They requested more information from my bank "to make it easy for me to get approved " so I submitted to them even though they gave me wrong fax number and not sure where my informationwent and I had to re fax my information again to the right fax .I called them few days later to to follow up they don't give any accurate info. And they hung up on my 3 times. Now they are saying it's up to my bank to speed up the process.

Less 1 Day being a Customer and I cancelled. I tried twice to [purchase something with this "Credit" never happened. i called to the helpdesk and after 5 minutes trying to skip the automatic service to speak to a human, I was transferred to 2 departments. after 15 minutes just answering 3 times questions, i decided to cancel it. If this within the first 24 hours, I cannot imagine what may happened later if I exercised the credit. Literally the worst service ever.
