He received me on time, was personable and able to answer my tax related questions. Matt listened to and understood what I needed, took down the relevant information and agreed to get back to me. His receptionist called me within a week to schedule a follow up meeting whereupon I received the information I’d requested with clarity, timeliness and interpersonal warmth. We had asked Matt a month before the T1 deadline last year if he was able to take on our returns. I had to follow up with him twice the week of the deadline as we hadn't heard. He finally contacted us on April 30 late in the evening. We immediately signed the forms and sent payment. After this I was trying to get a copy of my return and he never responded to emails or phone calls. Come to find out he never efiled our taxes at all. Our etransfers also expired twice. I used the email he suggested and we had previous correspondence with. I have no idea what happened but this is unacceptable service. I have no idea how he has so many positive reviews.
