The first time I saw the CCAA perform was at their annual gala. Their costumes were exquisite, their choreography and dances were stunning. The school has such a lovely mixture of different dance styles from various regions. I later joined the dance school and despite feeling a bit nervous at first about not having much dance experience; everyone at the school was very welcoming, friendly, and supportive. The dance instructor we have is very patient and I'm really enjoying how she helps us improve our physical abilities when it comes to flexibility, grace, and choreography. I definitely recommend this school!

My daughter has been with CCAA taking Chinese dance and Acro for the last two years. She is excited for every class and has learned so much in the short time that she has been there. The teachers are talented, patient and thoughtful and we are grateful to maintain a link to our heritage. We look forward to all the performances which display all forms and styles of Asian dance.

My daughters have been taking Chinese dance with CCAA for 3 years and Acro class as well.
The instructors are very talented and work tirelessly to make this organization a success. I am especially impressed with how quickly they were able to implement covid safety protocols and accommodate virtual dance classes. The annual gala show is spectacular and a true testament of the talent and effort of this remarkable group!

I have been dancing with CCAA since the beginning and it is absolutely an amazing organization to be a part of. They offer a wide range of dance classes for every age group and has become a second family for myself and many other dancers. CCAA is very passionate in promoting Chinese Arts for all ages not only through dance, but also through workshops within the greater community. It is an amazing team to be a part of and allows many to get exposure to Chinese culture while having fun. Be sure to check them out!

My girls have been dancing for a few years with CCAA and I feel proud to be part of this dance group. I am most impressed with how passionate the instructors and volunteers are to help promoting Chinese culture in this art form. Most of them are also Canadian born too. It's great for my girls to get exposure to Chinese culture while having fun, learning dance techniques, live performance experience, and team work experience.

I have a sister who has been a student there for the past couple years and I just keep hearing wonderful things about the school. Many of the other attendees are very kind and supportive of each other, many of the parents who bring their kids there are SOOO dedicated and do their best to help the school and other students. Some of the parents even love to bring treats for the kids! Through being enrolled in the school, my sister got to participate in things that she normally would not have, like travelling internationally to perform and watch other dance performers from all over the world. I myself have had the privilege of being able to watch this amazing dance school put out their very best shows for the past 2 years. I am consistently wowed by the creative and talented performances, how beautiful the costumes look, and even got to see some of the littlest ones perform ( as little as two or three years old! Super cute!) I would highly recommend anyone to attend a show performed by the Chinese Cultural Arts Association. And if anyone out there is interested in joining as a performer, I would highly recommend it also!

Absolutely love the environment and training CCAA provides. If you are looking to emerge yourself in Chinese traditional dancing and its culture, history and art, this is the perfect place to do so! Teachers are also very open, patient and welcoming.

CCAA is a great organization with enthusiastic individuals who strive to promote the Chinese culture and arts. Not only do they offer quality dance lessons to groups ranging from children to adults, they also provide a variety of opportunities in performances and workshops. Overall an enriching experience!
